Oh, I never said Peach > Zelda. I was emphasizing that Peach is even more to the Mario series than Zelda is to her series. Peach has a lot more going for her. I'd imagine the gap between her and Zelda would be MUCH smaller than the gap between Mario and Link.

I've become much more confident on Snake > Bowser, as up in the air as that still is.

Kirby seems to be a monster as well, though. I'm starting to wonder if Squall could still take him, and that's no slight toward Squall's strength either. He's keeping it exceptionally close, and he's coming closer and winning updates more frequently to boot. Very impressive.

Tomorrow's MC/Crono. Very 'meh'. I've never felt much for either character. I'll probably throw a pity vote to MC if he's getting clobbered.

I'm very conflicted on Vincent/Squall. I like them both, and wouldn't mind either of them winning the division. I like Vincent a tad bit more, but I have Squall making the Elite Eight in my bracket... <_______<

Sonic/Tifa's really no contest. I'm still not convinced Sonic's out of danger with Luigi being underrated and the Nintendo boost, so he needs my vote every step of the way.

Mega Man/Yoshi's another tough one...but I'll probably stick with my boy Mega. Besides, he needs a good showing here if he wants to prove that Leon Kennedy and Gordon Freeman are for real.

Neither is a foregone conclusion at this point, that much is obvious. They performed similarly on characters of similar strength last round, so it's very much a coin toss.

heh, people are finally giving Kirby-Squall another look. very nice to see. I've got no problem with increasing Kirby to 30-31%. same with Luigi or Yoshi.

I think Squall is the ever-so-slight favourite tomorrow. that's the only round 3 match that's really in question. Tifa-Sonic is the only other one you could argue, and that depends on what you think of Luigi.
