About Solid Snake, my two cents:

I think you're overrating Sora and Alucard (especially Alucard) and are getting wrong indications on this. Just look at Snake/Zelda and you have a better idea of Snake's power... He's going to beat Bowser (or Kirby if he comes back), but won't have a chance against Mario/Samus... Especially this year with Nintendo boost.


About today's match... Well, I'll just wait the day vote and see if Kirby will make a comeback. I have Bowser in my bracket, but Kirby is a character I like... So I'd be happy with any result ;)

This match confirms Kirby > Yoshi, but that was obvious anyway. I love Kirby, but I'd support Yoshi to beat him anyday. Hopefully, the two will never face.

I take Ryu > Kirby back. I don't think this is rSFF at all, this is just Kirby kickin' ass.

we've had two Nintendo matches in three days, and both of them look to be relatively free of SFF. very nice to see.

Nah, they've both been pretty consistent. Kirby just won that update because Bowser had a big drop in his own votes rather than an increase in his.

Too bad Vincent will beat Squall

So I wake up this morning to Bowser below 55%. Yikes. I doubt Kirby could break 45% on Solid, so transitively I will give the major advantage to Snake right now. If Bowser pushes towards 57% with the day vote I will pull back a bit, but as of now, I think Bowser will do just a bit better than Zelda did against Snake. Unless of course we see Solid ****, in which case Bowser wins.

Wow. Kirby's doing excellent. Keeping it rather close during the last two updates. Hopefully he can end at 46% or higher. =)

Seeing Kirby get ~48%+ per update for the last 15 minutes is great - hopefully it is a trend he can maintain while I'm gone. I wish I didn't have to leave. =(

Also, I want Castlevania: Dawn of Souls so badly now. It looks absolutely sublime...

I don't know Bowser is still unsure. Using adjusted 20XX for Tidus puts Bowser about level as his Spring numbers (using base Ganondorf), but using unadjusted puts Bowser at his 2k3. If you really look into this match it doesn't really help us much. I'm still saying that Sonic/Tifa will give us more answers to Snake/Bowser.

I think if any match will give us an answer to this, it'll be Vincent/Squall. Mostly because I think Dante's DMC3 boost will put him right about equal with Kirby's Nintendo/CC boost when all is said and done... <_________<

And on the matter of Snake vs. Bowser by performances so far I think Bowser has the upper hand in the match. So what if Snake crushed Sora, Sora is fodder.

Okay >_> not exactly "fodder" but he consistently gets beat by around the same percentage by the higher tier players. So around the same % on both Samus and Snake means absolutely nothing.
