Bowser beats Kirby 50.4-49.96, then beats Solid Snake by 2 votes, then loses by 1 vote to Samus, who beat Mario by 19 votes, Sonic beats Yoshi (who defeated Mega Man 48-52) with 60% of the vote. Samus goes on to lose to Sonic 30-70. Link ties with Cloud and the winner is decided by Ceej flipping a coin. While in midair the coin is eaten by Kirby. Kirby grows to Level 45 and learns Metronome. Ertyu explodes. Kali and Icon have a slapfight, Sonic beats Sephy 75-25, and then he loses to Link 10-90. However, shenanigans are called! George Romero flies away on a pterodactyl before being shot down by Ulti (laughing insanely and mumbling incoherently about X-Stats), and Alucard is declared the contest winner.

Nah, this boost had to have been this year. He was legitimately weaker in 2004. He not only underperformed by 4% on Knux and Mega Man, and Frog (sprite or no) almost beat him.

I dunno... The pic IS heavily biased, but I wouldn't dare think it would make THIS much of a difference. I actually felt sorry for Sora. But it's not to the same degree as Snake getting blasted in the face by Mega Man.

Snake does dominate the pic though. Sora is hardly significant in the pic. What are the vote totals looking like?

as I said last night, I could see that Snake picture to be huge just because all of his other pictures have always been awful. going from an awful picture to a great one could really help.
