I'd just like to point out that Ganon's biggest game was OoT, on the N64. A system where Samus appeared only in SSB (and Ganon wasn't in SSB, just SSBM). So Samus doesn't have as much in common with Ganon as other Nintendo characters would.

And Ganon would by expected to get 57.5% on Zero, for those who want to know. Samus's performance here remains impressive as long as she stays above 58.17%.

Not necessarily. This is still a SFF match. It's just the fanbase doesn't unproportionally prefer one over the other. If the vote totals remain low, it would have to be attributed to that.

There is no SFF here, in my opinion. The Metroid fans stuck to Samus, the Zelda fans to Ganondorf and the Nintendo fans struck down the middle. If there is any, it's minimal.

i wonder if vote totals should be a factor. cause you could get a character that thrashes it's opponents yet only get say 60k per matches how would he fare against someone who is often in close matches but is capable of getting 65k

Have any of you guys read the new EGM? There is actually a lot of information about the gauntlet of FFVII releases coming out soon.

Crisis Core for the PSP is looking rather nice, as it may revolve around Zack's story and is showing some rather sweet anime style cut scenes and graphics. Too bad I probably will never play it.

Before Crisis (the PC game) is looking to not only involve the 4 Turks of FFVII, but also a host of new Turks, as well as Zack, Sephiroth, and a gun-wielding Cloud. The storyline, as the title hints at, take place before the events of FFVII.

Dirge of Cerberus and Advent Children are looking nice as usual. I'll let you know more details after I finish reading the whole article.

To be honest, I think Sora has a chance to win that match. 55% on Alucard is no joke.

And in my replay of Mario 64, I'm up to 106 stars. I've only got two levels left to go, and you can guess what they are. And I despise them both.

Even with the extras and stuff, I'm not really interested in beating Super Mario 64 DS. Once I got to Snowman's Land, I got disinterested since I'm not that fond of the original as it is.

I find myself playing the minigames FAR more than the regular game. Especially the Mario and Wario games (particularly the Mario trampoline games and the Wario spiny egg game). And I am an absolute MASTER at "Wanted".

I do agree with Ulti on one thing. Dorf is doing well enough where I dont know if you guys will agree to increase him due to SFF, even though he is doing worst against Samus than he did against Sephiroth.

I think the only way we can get a 'Dorf increase is if Bowser beats Snake or through Snake, Bowser appears to be close to his Spring level.

Mister Mario got me thinking with his '47% of the brackets' with Samus. Think Ganon's performance in Spring will give him some bracket support despite the seed differential?

I personally doubt Samus will have below 50% of bracket support, but anything over 75% would honestly shock me.
