None of those matches seem interesting to me. KHF has worn off too much for me to view Squall as a threat to Zero, Bowser, and Ganondorf. And I don't think Zero can really touch Bowser and Ganondorf at this point, to say nothing of Sonic, who he couldn't beat even in his weakest year.

Sonic would be Zero and Snake, now I would like to see Sonic-Megaman, but that match is coming.

Totally random statement: I think we should get Soma Cruz into the next contest. He might be nothing more than a low-midcarder at best, but it would be nice to have another Castlevania rep in the contest. His game was popular enough to get a sequel, and Dawn of Sorrow is looking to be a hell of a game.

Wait, people don't still think that Tifa can challenge Sonic, do they?

Sadly, yes.

You know...It's kinda weird, though it's probably just coincidental. Sonic did about 3% better on Diablo than Ganondorf did, who's doing about 3% worse here on Samus than Sonic did. Perhaps Ganondorf is the overrated one?

Hey, I can see Sonic/Ganondorf ending up 53/47 in Sonic's favor. I'd say that's the most likely scenario, even.

I hope not. I like Ganon quite a bit.

And yeah, people were bringing up Tifa having a shot using static KOS-MOS. I just kinda shook my head and ignored it.

Most of Samus's 5 minute updates are under 60% now. Heck, she only got 55% here on the last one. She might not beat Sephiroth's Spring performance if Ganondorf gets a strong day vote like this.

Simon was also well over 10 years removed from his last game. How many gamers that started playing in the Playstation era do you think know who Simon Belmont is?

Samus could fall all the way to 59.00% and she'd still be outperforming Sephiroth and would have a close match with Mario. I don't know why you're rooting against one of the best characters in this contest... =\

I'm not saying she's doing bad, or that she can't beat Mario or outperform Seph. She's just not doing 65% like everyone said. Oh, and I hate her.

65% implies Samus SFFing Ganondorf some, which I fail to understand why it'd happen. And it's not happening, either.

Mega Man/Sonic is a win-win situation for me. I have Mega Manin my bracket, but I'm a huge Sonic fan. He DESERVES to beat Mega Man. However, I don't think Sonic could have EVER done some of the things that Mega Man has done in this contest (Go toe-to-toe with Sephiroth, beat Snake with 57%). However, Mario's performance against Zero has drilled in the fact that this is a totally new year and we may see some results unlike any that we've seen before.

Well, some can be attributed to an all-around Nintendo increase. I don't doubt some SFF, though. I'd be worried if she came close to or fell below Sephy's percentage.

How so? Sonic lost to Samus who got 47% on Sephiroth. That's not exactly toe-to-toe...
