Hmm, Samus lost a good deal of percent, it's still up in the air whether she finishes over 60% or not.

Vincent WILL break 60% on Dante.

Well, I guess the question then shifts to "Would Mario SFF Ganondorf?" I think he would. I'd imagine most people in this topic feel the same regardless of how many "Oh really? When did that match take place?" responses I get.

The one where Samus does worse than everyone's expectations, except yours which are always exactly on target with the current match.

It's irrelevant whether he could SFF Ganondorf or not. The issue is whether he can rSFF Samus or not.

Samus hasn't ever SFFed anyone, has she? the Link SFF against her was minimal as well. SFF with Mario should also be minimal.

Of course, if Samus ends up doing WORSE than Sephy on Ganondorf, she's going to have to pray for rSFF, Sephy decreasing since the Spring, or Ganny increasing since the Spring to look good for that match...should she even make it.

The one where Samus does worse than everyone's expectations, except yours which are always exactly on target with the current match.

Weren't some of the people here expecting Samus to win with 75% or 80% of the vote in an SFF slaughter? That's why my prediction differs, because I don't make ridiculous predictions.

Samus is doing fantastic right now. She's borderline 60%, and even if she falls under 60%, she's still doing better than what Sephiroth managed on Ganondorf, so far. And don't look now, but she just increased.

Samus SFF'd Isaac. Compare him to Felix, and consider that GS1 > GS2.

I think that before SFF, Mario and Samus will be nearly equal in strength, perhaps with Samus having a very slight edge in strength. That will be the match of the contest.

That was MC's inaugural match, at the height of XBox revulsion on this site (save perhaps for Halo/Starcraft). I wouldn't expect Felix to have done nearly as well on anyone else.

Board 8: Where people treat each other right.
From: HaRRicH | Posted: 9/6/2005 12:28:10 AM | Message Detail
I've begun to accept that Felix showed his true strength against MC; two years later, AFTER Halo 2, the board's beloved CATS did exactly what was expected of Face-CATS based on MC 2k3. Crash did worse than expected against MC 2k4 (which, by all means, should have the strength of his 2k3 value). MC wasn't under-rated by Xbox hate either against Aeris, seeing how he's done since 2k3.

It's weird, but I think Felix was legitimately that strong.

He's high fodder, but that's about it. Considering the big success of his series, if that's the best that he can do, it's obvious that PS platformers aren't that well-liked, which is a shame. The Jak series rocks.
