Purple ball for the win! But seriously, the focus of the match picture is a bit off. You can't even tell whether Samus or Ganondorf shot that thing.
From: Majin Lou | Posted: 9/5/2005 11:17:13 PM | Message Detail
I like it. Samus shoots, and it looks like Ganondorf's hand is gonna block it.

I think if you didn't realize it was Samus firing that, you could think it's coming out of Ganon's hand.

I know people were kidding, but I seriously wanna vote for that purple ball; it steals the picture away entirely too much. Otherwise though, it's nice, if not a lil' too much like Mega/Solid #2. I doubt it had an anomoly then though, so I doubt it will here too...and if it does, hey, we're most likely gonna be adjusting for SFF anyways, so bring it on.

Hmm, this match doesn't seem like it's going to beat Snake/Zelda by as much as I thought it was...still, it's nice to have a new vote champion up there. Let's hope we can work toward surpassing 2k3 totals eventually. ^_^

I'm hoping Snake/Zelda holds on. Zero was a terrible draw in the first two rounds; he doesn't deserve to be in the most popular match of the contest.

Considering how everyone in Zero's four-pack has been under-estimated before, I'm gonna say Mario will have 77.74% of the brackets on his side to win his division.

Just fell below Zelda-Snake's total votes at the same point, and the voting pace is about 10 votes per update short. Short of a massive increase during the last two updates, looks like Mario-Zero will have to settle for #2.

Everybody with a score of 13 or less got the match wrong. A very nice performace by the top tiers. The -2, -3s and -4s went perfect. The -5s and -6s were both 1 person away from also going perfect. Then you've got high 90 predictions going down for a few tiers than fading away.

Only 2 people fell off the Top 50 today. minivirus2 and a person who had Zero taking the main bracket, MadMeesecow.

Nor would I expect her to. Link/Ganon SFF was a given, since Link is the main character of every game Ganon is in. This won't be nearly as severe. In fact, there may not be much SFF at all.

I'm hesitant to call anything on this match, as I'm sure that Ganondorf's suffering *some* SFF. Still, Samus looks in as fine shape as ever to take down Mario, even with the boost he got to take down Zero.

Of course, if Zero was at his adjusted levels for that match, we might be seeing Mario > Sephiroth happen before we know it...

Well, that's what I said before this match started. Some people seemed to assume that Nintendo fans will abandon Ganondorf at the first sign of another one of their own, which seemed ridiculous to me. The match with Link is a special case.
