I really think this is Gordon and Leon showing strength more than Mega Man showing weakness; Mega Man had nearly done to Conker what his adjusted value was expected to do...and that is after C:L&R, too. Gordon also had good reason to gain, and Leon had good reason to be strong...

...though I still didn't think Leon would crack 30%; with him doin' nearly 36% here, I could see it bein' Mega Man taking a small dip, or at least being adjusted in 2k4 less. Hard to tell.....

Exactly. You know your grasping at straws when you have to raise Gordon freaking Freeman by huge proportions and have Leon at decent midcarder levels when all the other RE characters bombed in the spring contest to explain Mega Man doing so horribly.

He isn't even close to the weakest in the contest, and he has had ahlflife 2 since the last contest. With that said this is an absolutely massive increase we would be looking at. Right now a static megaman puts him close to 20% on bl, if not higher.

And there has to be a limit to how much Megaman has fallen. Even if you bring him down a bit lower than unadjusted, Gordon Freeman still technically comes out of the fodder category.

Sonic's portable outings have been some of the most popular games for the GBA, and whether you like them or not, all the GCN Sonic titles have been top sellers as well.

Kefka got 70% on Wesker and Diablo beat Kefka and got destroyed by Sonic. I'm not saying Leon is anywhere near as weak as Wesker, but Wesker should be more then absolute fodder if Leon is midcard level.

For the most part Wesker and Leon are unrelated. The only game they even share is RE4 where Wesker only appears in a mini-game after you complete the game. I don't think being from the same series is enough to warrant overall strength.

Besides, it's not like Jill has been weak in the contest. And even she has a little more to do with Wesker than Leon.

I'd put just about any character in the contest over Freeman, including Pac Man. I just don't believe hes raised that much. Its not like PC games have any strong following on this site either. And dont bother bringing up Starcraft, because I would be willing to bet a heck of a lot that Starcraft was cheated for by some degree in every match it was in.

I always got exactly the opposite impression from MM. He has an extremely loyal and rabid fanbase that buy every damn game in the series, which is why it's still chugging along all these years.
