Zero would easily take care of anyone on that list except for Bowser and Ganon.

Heh, ya right. There was a time when much of this topic thought Tifa was the "probable winner" against both Sonic and Mega Man.
Sonic I agreed with at the time, I could never believe that Mega Man would get beaten by Tifa or Vincent.

Samus and Mega Man may pose a threat, but yah Crono's the biggest one.

It's official now, this contest hates me.
Every char I like didn't do well, or just do as expected.
While every char I hate overperformed by leaps and bounds.
Anyway, Sonic will beat MM, and he'll give Crono another match for his very life.
With this, I'll be essentially gone from board 8 until the time comes for Cloud vs. Link.

wow, nice match.
I can't tell if these TJF comments are jokes or not, but I really hope they're not. Luigi looked pretty strong after demolishing KOS-MOS and Nintendo has just increased all around, no one more than Luigi. as I said last night, this makes Yoshi look really, really weird; if Tifa = Sonic, Yoshi = Mega Man or so assuming no SFF.
and congrats to tnote - not only did he win an account bet, but he'll be first in the oracle come tomorrow.

Of course she gets tired. That chest must really pose a challenge to the spine. ;)
Seriously now, I can't quite get over it. We've seen Kirby and Bowser absolutely demolish characters they should've struggled with, and in Kirby's case lost, and now Luigi with two astonishing matches in a row. I don't think a company carried so much momentum in a contest, ever.

Hell no.
It's obvious now we're going to have to start anew with this year's X-Sts. Fortunately we're not getting much in the way of SFF matches, especially with Magus out of the way... Mushroom/Zebes could get quirky depending on the outcome of Mario/Samus and Samus/Ganondorf, and there's always Kirby who could fall big time to Bowser... but other than that, I don't see a problem, and I doubt Crono can SFF Vincent or Squall.

Yeah, sure, KOS and Vyse just dropped like rocks nearly in
proportion to eachother for no reason and with no relationship between
them. Your logic is flawless, and by flawless I actually mean baseless.
Grasping at straws? Not one but two characters are putting Tifa at an
insane level, and the further this match goes the closer those two
characters get to predicting Tifa at the same level. There's no
grasping at straws here, even if she doesn't win she's certainly
outranking every non-Noble Nine Square character.
Please, Kosmos being static, when she's supposed to give luigi a close match and then proceeds to get thwomped? And she never was outranking Squall, and she sure isn't outranking Squall now.
And to think, Slow said that a 57-43 spread was free money... =/
Damn straight he did! :P

eh, not every value is as off as Luigi's. lots of non-Nintendo
characters are remaining approximately the same. the Nintendo
characters, though, are just skyrocketing. we've also got
Vincent-Squall/Crono to deal with in terms of SFF.

Nice feature there. Looks like the LoZ series still draws in most of
the votes. Add that plus a Nintendo increase, and Link is looking
stronger then ever.
