Tifa >>>>>>>>>>Elena >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Aeris = Yuffie

i always hated both Aeris and Yuffie.

and as i go to bed, i say that Squall only has 38% of the brackets tomorrow and the Top 50 will be severely shaken up again.

I always thought Red XIII was a girl, because my roommate named the characters after people we knew, and Nanaki was named after the hot chick I worked with. Why, you ask? Well, because we thought she'd be a panther in the sack. Aaah college, how I will miss you.

Hmmkay, so what are the chances of Yoshi pulling a Luigi and SFFing Pac-Man to hell? Can he do it, or is he just too recent to get the old-school appeal?

I don't think Yoshi will beat Pac-Man as badly as Luigi did, personally.

And yes, I would take Zelda over Sora, though I think it would be rather close. Heck, it'd probably still be close next year, too.

I think Sora over Zelda would be a viable upset pick. Taking it would not display lack of common sense. After all, he did less than 2% worse on Alucard compared to Ganondorf.

If Snake gets Solid **** again (which would suck) then I could see Sora doing about as well as Frog did last year. Hopefully we won't be seeing Solid **** again.

Darn it, my oracle pick of 53.45% is around correct all night, then Squall goes and dominates the late night vote and brings himself to over 53.55%.... I'll be top 10, but not number 1. Oh well, still good.

Didn't think of Ganondorf... then again, Nintendo is an unbelievable oddity in this contest. I think with their collective nitro boost, Ganondorf could get the 60% he was supposed to get the first time around.

I really would not be surprised to see Sora score better on Snake than Zelda did. I think they'll be less than a percent apart regardless.

Then again, I have this odd feeling that Snake could inexplicably slaughter Sora for no reason whatsoever.

I think people are putting the wrong emphasis on Snake's bad showing last year, especially after what we've seen Magus do this year. I think Frog was definitely more to blame for that than Snake.

I would take Zelda over Sora after TP. You have to remember she seems to have a MUCH bigger role. Nintendo has hinted at her even being playable.
From: JonPen1416 | Posted: 8/31/2005 9:52:00 PM | Message Detail
Does anyone know what Villain contest Bowser was expected to get on Ryu? I would guess it's about 57%, which has enough room for error for Ryu to have stayed constant. I just don't think he dropped very much after being so constant so long.

Sora/Zelda is a good match, but probably one that would kill partystar.

I'm not even sure who I would pick. But, if someone had to win decisively, I'd say it would be Sora.

He was supposed to get almost exactly 54%, but Ryu was apparently weaker when Snake faced him in 2003. Then again, Sonic, Ryu, and KOS-MOS doing almost exactly as expected despite all three rising could've been a fluke. He would've been expected to get nearly 56% on 2003 Ryu. Either way, something's not registering.

But then again, Zelda gave us all these same signals in round 1, and we know what happened there.
