Boring, but comforting. There's a great deal of solace involved with seeing this match play out pretty much how we'd have always expected it to. After having to listen to so many poorly formed argmuents stating that the Xstats "r teh phail" it's nice to have some things go down like they should. Like, say... yesterday.

I'm afraid I have to say you're just blind, then. Vincent is by no means a favorite in this topic. Yes, most have seen the light and realize he isn't weak but many of those do so quite begrudgingly. Other than HM and myself, I can't recall anyone outright calling him one of their favorite characters.

Now, I'm sure there some people out there believe Bowser will beat Snake after performing better against Ryu than Snake did. But, a lot of you guys also say that Snake underperformed significantly with the "Solid ****" picture against Frog. Now, Snake also had a "Solid ****" picture against Ryu, now, so surely he should have significantly underperformed there, too. Now, so what looked like Bowser performing better is not necessarily true, if you take that into account.

Now, I don't know if someone else has pointed this out, as I haven't bothered looking. But, I don't really care, if they have, this point needed to be made twice (or more >_>).

ha. the only people who would say that are people that are huge Vincent fans. those same people are the ones who think Vincent is the strongest, too. that always worries me.

looking at today's match, Crono should be falling under 70% soon. this is a nice little way to measure how much SFF occurred between Crono and Kefka.

This is pretty much what I expected from Crono. I really don't get why anyone was thinking he had taken a drop. Frog and Magus were overrated from the start. It's just too bad we realized it too late (well, didn't particularly matter in Frog's case, as he was a 1 and done regardless). But Crono has repeatedly proven his strength. You don't do what he did against Mario THREE times on a fluke.

All the Vincent talk amuses me. A few days before Kerrigan, it was "Vincent will probably beat Dante, but his road likely stops there." Then it was "Vincent definitely beats Dante, and is a threat to win the division." Then, "Vincent isn't touched in this division now that Magus is gone." Now it's gotten all the way to "Vincent takes out Crono and wins the contest." Seriously, stop hyping based off of fodder. I love Kerrigan and it hurts me to see her as fodder, but after everything we've seen I simply can't see her being much stronger than Gordon Freeman, and that's being optimistic. She's in an ensemble cast on a popular PC game. Sound familiar? You're right, it doesn't. Freeman is at least a main character.

Vincent will probably beat Dante, but realistically, I see him having all kinds of problems with Squall.
