Honsetly, I would expect Luigi vs. Master Chief to be a close match. In 2k3, Master Chief did a tad better on Aeris than Luigi did on Squall, and Aeris > Squall. Luigi does have PM2 and SM64DS, but Master Chief has had Halo 2. Also, Luigi isn't that far off DK in strength.

I'd take Aeris over Squall; we've seen the damage that Cloud's done to Squall and Aeris's done to Sora...it wouldn't necessarily be that bad (and most likely wouldn't), but Aeris isn't that far from Squall anyways (if she's not already ahead of him; I don't remember). I would think she would have the inherent advantage.

I wouldn't expect an extreme boost from it at all and definitely not enough to catapult Knuckles over Squall (2003 Kirby is practically equal to 2003 Knux).

Don't worry, I know the difference between Cloud, Aeris, Sora, and Squall...but after seeing such damage be done in those two instances, I feel obligated to give Aeris the edge. According to 2k3 stats, Squall would already lose to her in a close match (he'd get 48.34%)...now, you can account for Link/Samus SFF if you like (I think it's minimal, myself), but no reasonable adjustment would have him winning over her enough for me to think her FF7-edge couldn't overcome.
