I've been calling the comeback all match. I really don't care who wins, but writing off MC after what he did last year is silly. I know it relied heavy on outside links, but still.

Even without the outside link, MC, Halo 2, Hayabusa, and the Xbox has increased through-out the day in most of its matches; the only two times I can think of where something Xboxy didn't increase through-out the day was Halo 2 in the second GotY poll and Project Gotham Racing in a side-poll not too long ago.

Still though, outside links wouldn't hurt his cause.

That would absolutely suck if outside vote rallying took away Donkey Kong's dream of a sweet 16 appearance for the first time since 2002. It just wouldn't be right. Forget Master Chief, DK needs a chance to win again.

At the same time though, MC's never been to the Sweet Sixteen while characters like Lara Croft and Master Hand have (heh, maybe MH isn't a fair example). MC deserves his chance to get there too, especially after the huge success that was Halo 2 being released and the Multi-player Map Pack is still pretty new to boot.

Exactly. Chief had everything going with him this year. Halo 2. Halo 2........Halo 2.
