Heh, you know what I wish for now? I wish Cecil would have been replaced with Bomberman this year; that would have really thrown the "lol x-stats" people into a fiesta if Tidus deserves to be adjusted (which looks doubtful, but work with me). Just to catch a glimpse...

2k2: Bomberman gets 45.04% on Kirby.
2k3: Bomberman gets 37.18% on Kirby.
2k4: Bomberman gets 39.18% on Kirby.
2k5: Bomberman currently gets 35.95% on Kirby.

I'd think the night vote will lower Kirby's currently ridiculous margin, but then again, he's dominated the entire match. I'm actually pretty surprised with that Bomberman-Kirby Stat, makes you wonder how many people actually looked into the X-Stats before deciding Tidus was shoe in, because a gain like that was actually fairly predictable, assuming Bomberman's fanbase has stayed fairly consistent (which it more or less has).

My guess is if we'd seen those stats after Tidus-Bomberman there'd be a lot less people surprised right now, since even using 04 Bomberman-Kirby, a Kirby win in this match would have looked likely. Excellent post, Harrich.
