No internet connections in the Caribbean? I find that a little hard to believe.

Carribean cruise. Which means I could check results/email/sports, but at $.50/minute, I found it to be a wee bit too pricy to actively follow matches for hours on end.

You know what would really help Alucard right now? DARKNESS!!!

Seriously, with the night-vote gone, he's out of it. I was hopin' it'd stay alot closer than this, but it looks like Sora is gonna bring it home.

The gauntlet, although close but has been pretty anticlimatic..

Well, we really couldn't expect Auron, Zelda, and Alucard to do any damage if we combine stats with logic. We were all hoping for upsets that just weren't realistic.

Another anticlimactic match, except this time Alucard made it a little more interesting at the beginning, though Sora still has this one in the bag.

Ouch. This match is painful. Alucard's being absolutely killed with the day vote.

Still, it's only costing me two points. -7 is still OK :-)

Ya know, the lower Sora pushes Alucard down, the better off it looks for those of us who originally thought Kratos and Hayabusa were gonna be near-identicals. Granted, Sora could have gotten a lil' stronger due to KH:CoM, but Hayabusa also could have gotten stronger due to his pic lookin' like it should. Zero performing well on Mario would also make this more believable.

I should note that it'd take Sora to get over 54.5% for a believable chance of Kratos = Hayabusa (and even then, Hayabusa-through-Sora would only have 47.28% on Kratos; it's be up to Mario/Zero from there), but it certainly makes what many of us first believed to be alot more credible.

Depends. I could still go -9 (I'm conceding Dante>Vincent as a probable lost cause) and I reckon that'd win given that I've got a winner that isn't hugely popular. If you've got Mario, -13 has no chance. Anyone else, maybe. I think -10 will win it to be honest.

Either this year is the year of casuals like 2k3, or Ganon's standings in the X-stats should really be questioned.

I thought Sora vs. Alucard would be a toss-up, but Sora ended up winning too comfortably.

Assuming a constant Sora from 2k4 and that Alucard ends up with 46.25%, Ganon through Alucard through Sora 2k4 ends up with only 31.23% on Link 2k3.

That's more than 3% worse that what his 2k3 and 2k4 standings project.

Same goes with your assumption of increase.

KH2 isn't even out yet, and CoM isn't even a console game.

Disney commercials has been airing since KH.

What reason are there for Sora to increase?
