That's true in theoretical terms. If Snake suddenly started getting 0 votes, he'd drop in percentage faster the higher his percentage started. But in practical terms, it's easier to effect a shift in voting percentage when the match is closer to 50%.

So, what's everyone think of Alucard's chances against Sora? If Ganon is constant from 2k4 to 2k5, Auron would get 53.33% on Alucard. I'm thinking he'd do much better than that on Sora, even before SFF.

By the time this is over snake well be around his 2k4 adjusted level. It's his strongest time, he should fall about 4% by the end. And yes, I just randomly picked that number, but he won't finish with over 45% >_>.

Yeap. Snake's % is not going down consistently enough. Hell, it's going up half of the time. There will be no comeback. Master Chief had already chipped about 3% from Frog's first stable % at this time. Zelda has made fractional % in progress.

You know it was only called the "gauntlet" because the matches were tough to call... not because they would be close. At least that's what I thought (though I never thought this one deserved to be in it in the first place). Kirby/Tidus will be the only one that ends close, I bet.

yep, I've got Kirby/Tidus as the closest as well. I'm not sure about Vincent/Dante, since I know basically nothing about Vincent at the moment. Vincent could double him and I wouldn't be surprised, or Dante could squeak out a win. who knows.

I don't think we're returning to 2k3 levels - if so, we'd be seeing Square characters doing a lot better than they are. 2k3 just makes more sense because of the SFF-riddled 2k4 stats.

I would be awfully surprised if Tidus gets 60% on Kirby like the 2k3 stats suggest.
