Holy crap, Ganon's absolutely exploded from when I last saw this match. We now have yet another match to prove a decent Nintendo increase across the board. And based on this, not even New Square has much of a chance at winning the day vote against a Nintendo character. If Tidus doesn't get the early vote, I doubt he can win.

This match is only making Snake look more and more doomed. If Ganon could of come this far from 2k3 imagine how far Zelda might of come... I mean she got 39% in 2k3 on MM and Snake only got 43% last year on a weaker MM....

Looks like there isn't much (if any) SFF between Seph and Auron.

But it's still too early to confirm whether or not Ganon's numbers against Seph was correct.

I don't think that picture will help Zelda that much. I mean, Snake looks awful, but Zelda's picture isn't much better.

Zelda got an OOT pic, and we all know where OOT stands in the LoZ franchise's popularity food chain.
I don't think that pic will hurt her at all, if anything it might actually benefit her.

Snake, however, barely looks human in that pic.
He's but ugly for sure, but he's still a person.

Btw, I kinda liked Nintendo's domination so far, as all this does is decrease Square anti-votes and increase Nintendo anti-votes, which will hopefully tilt the balance in favor of Cloud once the ToC comes around.

But Zelda just doesn't look very good in that picture, from OoT or not. It's not like she's going to have recognition issues. I do think the pictures have an effect, but only in three cases.

1. The character has a name that's not immediately recognizable, so he needs the pic. "Dude, who's that Egyptian guy... man I wish that Ninja from Ninja Gaiden got in instead of him..."
2. The voter likes both characters by almost the same amount. "Snake's cool, Frog's cool... WTF is with Snake!?"
3. The voter has no idea who either character is. "Vyse vs... Laharl? Uh... I'll take the dude with the two swords. Twice the swords, twice the power!"

So yeah, this picture is gonna sway a little from 2. But I don't expect many because I think Zelda looks pretty crappy too. (and no, I don't think "man, I loved Ocarina of Time" will help Zelda in case 2... but I guess I could be wrong)
