Explanation of Extrapolated Standings:
http://sc2k5.com/drupal/node/11

Simple Explanation of Extrapolated Standings:
A = Strongest Character
B = Character Weaker than A
C = Character Weaker than B
To figure out a character's Xsts Percentage ---> [(CvB)(BvA)]/50 = CvA
To compare how C would do against B ---> [(CvA)/(BvA)]*50 = CvB
To figure out how B would do against A ---> [(CvA)/(CvB)]*50 = BvA

I'm just wondering about the ever elusive "kiddy" vote. I mean, we have a character from a game people under 16 are far too young for, against an old guy from a series with long cut scenes.

...I think the kiddies might just go back to sleep today.

Uhh...yes it does. It explains why his results against Kefka and Luigi showed such different strength.

I just wish Ocelot could make it out of this round, so we could see him bow out with his Major Ocelot pic to see if it would make a significant difference in his strength (since he used it against Wily, we don't know if it was a factor in that match).

Doesn't seem likely, though. I still say Liquid should still have come back, Villains Contest be damned. He was almost able to beat Frog without massive vote-rallying a la MC.

I don't buy this "FFF" for Pac-Man at all. Unless you think Kefka and Ocelot are fodder, Pac-Man isn't either.

Luigi could just be stronger than the x-stats say. God knows after his blowout wins in round 1 the past two years, we have some proof for it.

Let's see how this match ends up, how the match with Yoshi next round ends up, and how Luigi/Tifa ends up before jumping to conclusions.

I never said Kefka was fodder. The whole point of FFF is that the weaker the opponent, the stronger fodder becomes, and vice versa.

Hence the radically different results of Pac-Man versus Kefka and Luigi, Ryo Hazuki's bizarrely high ranking in 2K2 (along with several other fodder characters), and a few others.
