Also, why doesn't anyone realize that Tifa overperformed against Vyse? Her match pic was her most recognizable pic, and it had a large amount of TJF (and if TJF is going to benefit a character, it would have to be Tifa).

As long as she remains recognizable, it's not like she's gonna over-perform; I've heard of over-performing because of pictures, but not one because she's overly recognizable. As for TJF, who's to say she's not gonna get some more in that in most/all of her other matches? Also keep in mind that most people who's played FF7 will remember her having TJF, whether she actually has it in her picture or not.


As for the talk about delays, man, this has GOT to help the Xbox 360 tons. If neither Sony nor Nintendo come up with something to compete with it this Christmas, think about how much better the sales for Halo 3 could be. The better the sales Halo 3 is, the more LoZ:TP and PS3 will suffer or have to sell to keep up. I'm really worried about Nintendo in this case; I'm not sure if they can afford to let Microsoft get that advantage...

...though, to be fair, if LoZ:TP is released at the same time the Revolution, Mario 128, MP3, and SSBO (along with one other new franchise) is, Nintendo will have an absolutely killer launch. It doesn't hurt that you can download older Nintendo games with it too and will likely be sold cheaper than either the 360 OR PS3.

I cna pretty much guarentee that Metroid Prime 3 won't hit with revo launch, as well. Too many big names in too little time. We've seen N's development cycle in the past and frankly if they launch with three big titles they'll run out of steam too fast. Besides, if there was a 3rd big launch title it should be Kid Icarus. :)

I'm well aware, but if Nintendo and Sony refuse to give out any big sellers this Christmas for its gamers, what do you think many of them are gonna want for Christmas? I'd wager on an Xbox 360...and the more Xbox 360's that are sold, that's all the more system-holders who'll be likely to get Halo 2. That can make it tougher on the PS3 and LoZ:TP, thus Sony and Nintendo could be hurtin' from not having any big-name titles to compete this Christmas.

The problem Microsoft is going to run into, which is a bigger problem than most people give it credit for, is that XBox only had two killer apps. And guess what both were from the same series. Outside of Halo and Madden, there were very few games that broke a million sales. Microsoft could be in trouble when they try to launch the XBox 360 without a Halo game. Madden is pretty much there to save that launch sales wise.
