until i see otherwise, i'm still going with Tifa. before the contest started, i said that i would pick Tifa and Vincent over everyone else, except Samus, Crono, Mario, Megaman, and Sonic.

and good job by Luigi. between Nintendo's recent dominance and KOS-MOS's pic and lousy sequel, i wasn't gonna be surprised to see Luigi hit 60%, but 67% is very impressive. he still ain't gonna beat Tifa, though. ^_^

Crono got 77.99% on Conker, so Tifa (using Vyse) would probably get over 80% (no time to do calculations now)

I'm expected Conker not to just die though, so 70-75 for Mega sounds reasonable.

Question because I'm tired and am apt to make a miscalculation somewhere. Let's assume that pictures made no difference in the Zero/Hayabusa match of 2k5 and the Sora/Hayabusa match of 2k4 (a stretch for some, of course). Let's assume a static Zero from 2k4 (or 2k3, if you don't trust the results of Mega Man/Zero 2k4). Extrapolating from a static Zero and Hayabusa, what would Samus' percentage on Sora be in 2k4 project her to get on 2k4 Cloud?

I only ask because people are getting caught up in the hype of characters like Tifa taking the contest, when I remember that same hype from last year (and people *did* buy it) for Samus after she took down her first two opponents. People have rationalized this with the Magus drop and Lara simply fading into oblivion, but I want to see if her match against Sora suggested the same thing.

...eh, I'll probably just do it myself, with limited success.

Luigi's not keeping up the doubling, that's for sure, but still, a few points ahead of Ryu is nothing to sneer at.

Oh, and to Ulti saying FF7 domination instead of Square: not only do I doubt Squall SFFed Geno much, since Geno is easier to associate with Nintendo (see Sora and Square), Auron, Yuna and Rikku all looked great. I never said Square either, but NEW Square. There's a very good reason Frog (boo), Magus (BOOOOOO), Terra (YAY) and Cecil (meh) didn't follow suit.
