Not quite as mind blowing as Tifa's match yesterday, where she performed almost like Seph, but still... Luigi is damn impressive.

Perhaps Bowser's and Ganon's performances against Seph weren't flukes after all.

Luigi doesn't look like a coward factor!

Tifa got 6,000 more votes yesterday than Sonic did in his match. And that's not even counting the fact that Vyse is stronger than Jin.

For Tifa not to beat Sonic, Vyse would had to have taken an absolutely gargantuan drop. And he's not like Lara Croft, whose reputation becomes more tainted every year, so don't even bring up Samus/Lara.

Ya know, in 2k3 this match was supposed to have KOS-MOS gettin' 45.48% on Luigi (they were both behind Samus, too, don't look at Link/Samus for an explanation). In 2k4, the adjusted stats say KOS-MOS should be gettin' 49.22% on Luigi. Since 2k4, KOS-MOS has been in a sequel to her game while Luigi was in, well, more Mario Party/Tennis-type games and a Game Boy RPG.

Today, right now, KOS-MOS has 32.96% on Luigi and is still sinking.

I Know Luigi was goin' to look better in the stats this year than last year due to it being a path clean of SFF and all...but, come on; I find it nothing short of unreasonable how this is happening, outside of "well, it's happening, so get used to it." GREAT performance by Luigi though; maybe he'll give Tifa a fight (mere preference speaking...stats-wise, Tifa should still be taking this one home).

How would those ranges be calculated? I suppose you could run them through characters they faced in other contests, but then a good bunch of everything will be based on things that happend 2-3 years ago.

Sure, but the problem lies with the fact that some characters will have bigger ranges than others (Magus being the perfect example).

The X-stats are fine as it is, you just have to be able to tweak it with your own judgement once you go beyond the obvious cases.
