I'm hoping Luigi can stay over 60% all day. If he does an exceptional job, it may slightly quell the FFVII high everyone has been on, at least momentarily.

Luigi could well stay close to where he is now, in the mid 60's. Luigi is not good with the day vote, but KOS-MOS is not good with it either.

And creativename, your website kicks serious ass. I mean, it always kicked ass, but the fact that I can easily navigate it on my cell phone proved invaluable for my 13 hour trip home from Tampa to Chicago (lightning storms suck).

Thank you very much :) I never imagined anyone would ever visit my site from a cell phone, that's pretty neat.

It's great to see Luigi doing so well, and hopefully he keeps it up. After seeing what Tifa did to Vyse, winning is extremely unlikely, but it would be a moral victory, at least, if I was right about Luigi being underrated. I'll take what I can get in a contest that has shown no mercy to my favorites.

Indeed. A Luigi overperformance in this match has been discussed for ages (I believe RPGuy was the one who talked most often about it, as someone noted earlier). And this picture is presumably not as good for KOS-MOS as her earlier ones have been, as her front is not visible. And one can speculate with some logic that KOS-MOS's performances might be more pic-sensitive than that of other characters of similar strength.

And also, it has been stated that KOS-MOS might have dropped, because she is no longer the "it" girl and Xenosage Episode II might have hurt her.

Oh come on. We know full well that people would not base expectations off static KOS-MOS in this instance. Just like people did not assume static Lara and Fisher last year.

Luigi's stock isn't really going to go up so much here, as much as KOS-MOS's drops. You have to give Luigi some props if he keeps this up, but few will think he's really jumped up that much. (hey, maybe he has, but few would think it)

Indeed. Her image was changed, and from what I've heard she was de-emphaszed. (and let's not bring up DMC2, because that's only a single data point and not necessarily relevant to begin with, as Dante stayed the same and was still the featured character)
