I can't believe people still can't grasp the concept of Tifa beating Sonic.

She's beating Vyse worse than Sonic beat Jin, for God's sake. And I had never heard of Jin before this contest, though I correctly guessed he was from Tekken.

This match is not the same as Samus/Lara. Lara is complete and outright fodder; Vyse is our literal definition of borderline fodder. Furthermore, Vyse's reputation hasn't been tainted by endless crappy sequels.

Hmm....78% of brackets predicted the results. Looks like people have taken a lot of their predictions out of what happened in the spring contest.

Tifa is doing insanely well right now. Maybe Vyse underwent some sort of drop? Before people start insisting that he isn't the kind of character that would drop, think about this. Do you really think tifa would beat samus and sephiroth? I sure as hell don't until I see her do this in another match.

I started thinking about Tifa v Samus final earlier, then I slapped myself for thinking Tifa could get that far. Sure, she may have what it takes to take out Sonic, and maybe even Mega Man....but I am going to say that Crono would SFF her into the ground if he gets past Vincent, which he should have little problem with. Besides; Mario is going to take care of Samus.

This isn't about Vyse changing at all. This is about Cloud, and that I think in 2k3 he would have done better on Vyse than he did in 2k4.

Furthermore, let's check out some cold hard facts, here:

Vincent received 79,200 votes in his match.

Sonic got 69,317.

Vincent got almost 10,000 more votes.

Let's compare this to other members of the soon-to-be-dissolved Noble Nine:

Mario's votes against Joanna: 80,185

Samus' votes against Yuri: 74,493

Snake's votes against Manny: 77,063

Crono's votes against Zidane: 74,580

The only "Noble Nine" character that Vincent hasn't outdone is Mario, and I think we can attribute his slightly higher vote total to being in the first match of the contest.

It still kind of does. I don't believe that tifa is capable of being ahead of sephiroth. I just don;t. If she performs like this next round then I will, but as of now a moderate sized vyse drop seems more likely to me then tifa being the third strongest competitor we've ever seen.

This Division is less harder than the Dream one, actually. We all know who'd win round 1, Sonic > Diablo, obviously, and also Tifa > Luigi, the finals is the only thing to really worry about.

She is playable. Also, although Aeris may be more known because of the spoiler, at least you can use Tifa more.

She could be that weak. She probably isn't quite that weak, but she could be. There wasn't much of any rallying on oter sites like starcraft got, and being from a popular game doesn't exempt a character from being absolute fodder.

Im with Karma Hunter on this one. Stop being such a ***** with the stats. THEY HAVE FAILED US NEARLY EVERY MATCH. Someone being underrated or overrated and etc. Use your own common sense and not the numbers.
