The only time a pic has almost influenced my vote was Cloud/Duke Milkem.

I already clicked Milk Nukem's button and was about to hit vote before my conscience sreamed, "STOP!! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THE HELL HE IS!!".

I ended up voting Cloud, but had I knew who Duke Nukem is, I might have voted for him despite liking Cloud more.

We really need(ed) more bracket-thrashing matches this round...out of the past 15 matches, only two of them have had a prediction percentage below 70%. Of course, both of them were in the 30's, but still....

Well if one thing, this probably proves all the people on the Aeris tip wrong about how Aeris is more popular than Tifa. I've been saying for the LONGEST how I don't see Aeris being that popular. I know she has a good amount of fans, but I attributed strength in the contest is due to the power of FF7. Tifa is dominating this match like a true powerhouse.

I knew Tifa and Vincent would have great chances of breaking through the "noble nine" barrier. I agonized over Tifa vs. Sonic, but I picked Sonic based off the assumption that Tifa was probably not THAT much more popular than Aeris... enough to close the gap between Aeris and Sonic. I may be wrong.

If Vincent and Tifa were to switch places, I would have picked Vincent over Sonic with no hesitations, even though I don't care for Vincent at all and Sonic being my second favorite character.
