It's not like Diablo's opponents could be much better with the day vote. Kefka, Bison, Ridley, and Ganondorf. Diablo lost it to Ganondorf, and I'm not exactly confident that Ridley is a day vote monster either, despite being Nintendo. Seems like he'd be a night vote character just because he seems kinda "cult".

I'd surely take Kratos Aurion over Ridley. I'm still thinking Kratos will win the Day vote, and even if he ends up a % or 2 lower, it's not a decisive advantage so I'd take Kratos anyway. I'm not convinced Ridley is anything, and I think he'd get a good 3%+ lower if he were the 4 seed in this contest (higher vote totals and less bracket voting support).

I think anything Metroid is pretty good with the day vote...I think Ridley > Kratos. Nothing to be ashamed about...after all, no RPG characters were above Ridley except for Kefka and Sephiroth in the Spring Contest. Bah, Diablo needs to increase his percentage fast! ...else I'm gonna drop out of the Top 5 in the Oracle Challenge for the nth time. =p

To defend Ridley one time before I actually and seriously go to bed...keep in mind Diablo had linkage against Ridley and he still finished better than what Kratos is currently doing against a Diablo without linkage. If you're not comparing common opponents but rather where you think they should stand in the x-stats, keep in mind that Diablo's match with Ganondorf is the only match he didn't get linkage, thus making the entire Rui Division somewhat under-rated (how under-rated is your call). For Kratos to beat Ridley, he better be doin' better with the day-vote than what he's done this past update; that'll kill him if he keeps that up.
