Sonic is projected to get 73.3% on Vyse. So Tifa needs around that. If she were to triple him then that would put her at 35.9% on 2004 Link, which is around Mega Man's adjusted value and would project a victory for her with 53%.

We'll never know for sure, of course.
But as Ulti has said many times, the X-stats is still good enough as a rough guideline of where chars lie.
The rest is up to your own judgement.

And for the record, I'll give Tifa a chance at beating Sonic if she can miraculously triple Vyse.

Vyse is a character who doesn't have much reason to move up or down. He has his devoted fans who will pretty much vote for him no matter what. He's not getting any more exposure either.

It won't be Kefka/Pac-Man close, per se, but Ocelot won't blow him out. I've stated that I believe Luigi overperformed on him last year from the start. I think he's much closer to his 2003 value than to his 2004 value. It won't be enough to beat Ocelot, but it'll be closer than many expect.

Because of Kefka vs. Pac-Man and that Ocelot isn't too far ahead of Kefka in the VC stats. Also, Ocelot could be overrated due to Bowser's performance on Sephiroth (if you still believe it). Pac-Man also has a huge pic advantage.

Thing is, Kefka underperformed on Pac-Man, or Pac overperformed, or something. Either way, neither a 2003 adjusted value nor the 2004 one is reliable. The one that makes most sense is actually the 2002 one.

Do know, Kefka Vs Pac-Man was 2003, the Kefka we have now would easily break 60% on Pac-Man I think. I don't know why everyone even brings up "He struggled with Pac-man!"

Okay, so Ocelot could be overrated through Sephiroth? Well, let's use a little instinct power. Ocelot is expected to get 33% on Ganondorf, if Pac-man is easily doubled by Luigi, and we all know Ganonodorf > Luigi, I can't honestly see Pac-man scoring 33% on Ganondorf. Though, this match won't be a blowout, I can't see Pac-man even being a threat to Ocelot.
