I'm fully expecting Dante to be around 30% and Vincent somewhere right behind.

Kujas under JC Denton by less than a percent. Anyway I still say JC most likely overperformed on Mario and is weaker than that.

So, I guess we can drop the whole "Kerrigan would have to lose to JC Denton for Dante to have a shot" thing.

Does it really matter if she'd lose to JC denton or not? Once you get to the point of being that weak there are much more embarrassing characters to lose to that she would. Example: Gordan ****ing Freeman.

Her fanbase doesn't care about her. What makes you think she'd beat Freeman, anyway?

I don't feel like arguing Dante/Vincent yet Tifa/Vyse will help us in a way, but Dante does have a chance in winning.

I said she'd lose to freeman, not win. As in, she's so embarrassingly weak that being weak enough to lose to JC denton is one of the less embarrassing examples. At least he has a real fanbase. Hell, chop chop master onion would beat her.

I'd take Gordon over Kerrigan in half a second.

Of all the contestants who have been in every summer contest, only Link, Cloud, Sephiroth, Solid Snake, Ryu, and Gordon Freeman have held each of their opponents to under 60%. An elite list if I ever saw one.

Now that we know Magus is a bit weaker then Knuckles...

Was there an Angel Pic factor or did Kefka do as expeted on Wesker?

Angel Pic helped Kefka a lot. Spirtes help Kefka, same principle that applies to Chrono Trigger characters.

As expected. Luca is actaully marginally stronger in the Spring 2k5 contest compared to Summer 2004 assuming constant Magus.

A regular sprite may help Kefka, but I seriously doubt his last boss battle sprite would help him. You have to have completed the game even to see it, and I don't know why they wouldn't remember who Kefka was if they'd beaten the game.

The only problem is now, with Magus's newfound weakness, that match went pretty much as expected based on Luca Blight.

He's refering to the matches where CT characters(excluding Crono) get sprites. Magus's match with Link and Frog's match with Snake did not go as expected.

I know that's what he's referring to, but he's trying to use it to argue that Kefka benefitted from the same thing, when it's looking more and more like he didn't.

As I said, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kefka benefit from his normal FFVI sprite. I just couldn't see it happening based on his last boss sprite.

Hmmm... hodgepodge cast or not, I'd still take Terra over Geno. The question now is whether she can actually beat him that convincingly. Regardless, Dante/Squall should be a great match if the Devil May Cry star were to upset Vincent.
