I think your previous comparison of Geno being the Vincent of FF7 is a
lil' better...though, to be fair, I've never played FFX, so I probably
shouldn't be sayin' that, heh. Ah well.

If LL polls are any indicator he's tied with Mario as the favorite SMRPG character.

Devoid of emotion doesn't necessarily mean badass. I'd call Bowser more
badass than Geno... and I wouldn't call Bowser badass to begin with.
But I could see people saying that... by SMRPG standards. Heh.

Honestly, there's no reason why Geno shouldn't be far and away the most
popular exclusive SMRPG character. He's casual bait. He's the
mysterious dude who's ridiculously overpowered.

Heh, Geno didn't reek badass the last time I played SMRPG...
Geno's more badass than any other character in the game, as evidenced by the forest maze and Bowyer incident.
Seeing as Crono is so much more powerful than Terra, I don't think the ensemble cast would be enough to make up for it. Chrono Trigger being released much later probably contributed at least slightly. Since SMRPG is even more recent than CT, Geno would gain even more likelihood to be stronger than Terra.

Well, considering his only real opposition would be Mallow, that's
pretty much a fact. But I don't think it counts for enough. Geno just
seems to have "cult favorite" written all over him. Yeah I know SMRPG
isn't "cult", but you know what I mean.

Maybe next time we should get Croco or Booster in just for the heck of it.
It might help to determine whether Geno is the "Auron" of SMRPG, or if he's just the favorite.

I gotta admit, I'm probably kinda biased on Geno's strength. I never
really saw his appeal. I actually preferred Mallow... hell Croco too.
Then again, Terra is my third or fourth least favorite FF6 character, so I guess I'm equally biased towards them being fodderific.
