Not sure if you know this creativename, but your site missed some of the newer match pics.
I was unaware of that! Much appreciated Starion. I've put 28 and 29 up.

And damn it feels good knowing that trying to get a character in for two years pays off when that very character has some solid strength.
"Solid strength"...heh, talk about your understatements :)

Would a quadrupling be too much to ask?
Probably. Remember, that's the equivalent of jumping from a doubling to a tripling. It requires a much higher intake of votes.
Now 77-78% is very possible, considering FFVII is usually a beast with the day vote.

Never say never, especially with what we're seeing. Kerrigan may pathetically collapse during the day to the point where her performance at this hour looks good.

This is usually FFVII's weakest, actually. FFVII/CT were neck and neck for several hours. Samus was very close to Cloud in the early hours. We all remember Sephiroth vs. Ganondorf and Bowser.
They REALLY take off once morning hits.

This topic is like a Vincent Party right now.
And I'd take Vincent over Zelda.
I see Vincent getting about 60% on Dante, which seems more impressive to me than 60% on Vivi.

If Vincent got 55% on Dante(2k4) next round and tripled Kerrigan, that
would put her between Laharl and Lara Croft, and Vincent just below 2k4
Bowser.
If you assume Terra > Ultros = Kerrigan, then that puts Vincent almost equal to 2k4 Bowser, and at 56% or so against 2k4 Dante.

Next year's Vincent is going to be stronger than all but the top 4 or 5
characters. He wins the award for strongest newcomer, unless Tifa
really surprises us all...
(though after this, maybe I wouldn't be surprised)

Currently sitting pretty at #3 on the leaderboard
For the final day... Kerrigan, you have failed me.

Tifa should be scaring people who care about their brackets and don't have her beating Sonic.
Not saying that Sonic shouldn't still be the favorite—I'd still put Sonic over her, I think; and he's almost certainly the favorite among most of us. But if you care about your bracket, that match has to put some fear in you right now.
And I hope no one says we're giving too much weight to the early result of one match, because firstly this is a great result, and secondly Tifa vs. Sonic was discussed before the contest as a potentially good pick. It's just that few of us had the guts to go with it.

BTW, this match has got to easily set the record for biggest skew ever between level of discussion and proportion of the result.
i.e., this has got to be the worst hype/result match ever. Maybe Mario vs. Link is a contender, because that was so much more important.
