Same thing with Lavos and Sin, they're enemies with will.

I don't know why this topic assumes that Terra = Ultros is more logical than Dante increasing... hell even as little two or three %. I mean, there are "expectations for the character", and there's "Terra = Ultros". You've gotta draw the line somewhere, I think.

As for Lloyd/Mithos, well I have confidence that Wesker underperformed against Kefka and that Lloyd will establish a significant gap through Zero.

Ultros = 15.48%

If Dante = 30% on 2K3 Link:
Terra = 17.07%

If Dante = Dante 2K3 (27.33%):
Terra = 15.55% on 2K3 Link

I imagine Dante took a decent increase, so Terra should be significantly above Ultros...but still not as much as she should, in my opinion.

I still consider them hardcore if they continue to visit a relatively dead Starcraft site, and plus, Starcraft isn't really the casual gamers kind of game. It's a ****ing RTS. Anyway, I'm not expecting it to be a huge amount, but I think it's significant. Anytime that a player is optional in a game, it has to take into account some percentage of voters. There's no way in hell 100% of FF7 fans that frequent this site have gotten Vincent. All I'm saying is he won't be on the same level as someone like Aeris, I don't care what people say about her, every hardcore FF7 has experienced her whether they love her or not. My point is, this board is severely overestimating him.

He will still beat Kerrigan, as I have in my bracket, now that I've seen the pic, I can say that with confidence, before, not so much.

I agree; I think that sprite Terra would do a few points better. Sprite Terra would beat Ultros. This Terra...well, if they were actually in a match, it wouldn't be a given. I might have a tough time choosing there.

It doesn't make a difference. We're not talking about a Starcraft vs. Halo/KH/WW situation here where the two sides were pretty closely matched to begin with. Even if Blizzard were to put up something on their main page, I don't think it'd be nearly enough to push Kerrigan over the top.

I think a link on the actual battle.net site would in fact boost their characters to ridiculous proportions. Unlike most companies, Blizzard's battle.net page is really popular.

And I, personally, don't see why you should care, as it's a significant enough portion of every Blizzard representative's strength that other websites should be alerted. Besides, the fact that you would gain or lose respect for someone over something like that is just flat out petty. And if I hadn't, someone else would have, as they got a news post up every other time.
