Then I got caught up with the college life and didn't touch another message board until SC2k2 came around. I wasn't a reg on this board until 2k3 (<3 Fanta Shokata).

What does it matter? It's in the game in a variation... but forget it!

But yeah, Zidane/Vivi just seems to be the perfect choice for SFF ahoy. Much like Solid Snake/Raiden, even the Zidane's smaller core of fans tend to prefer Vivi. Not to mention Vivi's inevitably superior picture and likely bracket support.

Dang, part of me wants to see that go down, now. Just to see if Vivi could top Link/Dorf.

Woah, hold on, let's not get crazy here. There's no way Vivi could beat Zidane as badly as Link beat Ganondorf. No one will ever get SFFed that badly again, because Ganondorf has NO appeal of his own. I doubt even Cloud could SFF the "this guy are sick" guy that badly.

Yeah, and that's how it seems to roll with Zidane/Vivi too. (Well I don't agree that Dorf has appeal, but yeah...) Zidane's fans (like myself) say: "yeah, Zidane was cool, but Vivi was better". Leonhart and Vivi haters (very few of those out there) are the only ones that I've seen that prefer Vivi right now. And like I said, this being the important factor, Vivi would have a big picture advantage to sway the non FF9 fans.

I'd guess that a majority of Zidane's nominators also nominated Vivi, too. To shoot that one down. (of course I don't read minds, that's just speculation)

Terra is one of my favorite characters. I nominate her every single year, and was exceptionally pleased with the amount of support she got this year. She definitely deserves it.

Well, soon we'll find out if my Hero:Villain Theory was a stroke of brilliance, horsewash, or a mixture of both. Right now I'm just listening to OCR01234 and waiting for Terra's match pic. I hope it's a good one.

The whole hero > villain thing has been common knowledge more or less since I came here in Spring 2k4 and was cemented in Summer 2k4. I'm sure Lucid brought it up first in relation to Terra, as I was on vacation, but as soon as I returned I used it in my reasoning for Terra > Dante. And I did the math for every hero/villain combination to boot.

And we're still waiting on Terra's match picture.

That's not a good pic, tehcnically speaking. Terra looks like something from a basic Photoshop class. Poor selection, resolution, etc.
