Contest Stats and Discussion - Part 188

"Ironic how MMX's analysis said this would be the most quiet division."

Barring this match, the division still isn't very exciting.

Summer Contest Score: 17/18

By the way, I'm talking to M4 now. He claims that he has cheated in every close match since 2002, and something tells me that he's not lying.

What other matches has he played a decisive hand in this year, if any?
From: UltimaterializerX | Posted: 8/6/2005 11:48:35 PM | Message Detail
Ultimaterializer: I'm curious about one thing. How long have you been doing this?
M410123: since summer contest 2002
Ultimaterializer: In most of the big matches?
M410123: Yeah the close ones
Ultimaterializer: I wonder how you weren't caught until recently.
Ultimaterializer: And I assume I owe you a thank you for basically winning the Spring 2004 Contest for me.
M410123: Not as much as you'd think
Ultimaterializer: Do you remember which matches you cheated in, at least?
M410123: CT was the only real big thing that actually worked for me
Ultimaterializer: But there was something odd in FFT/MGS
Ultimaterializer: That had to be you.
M410123: I was with MGS
M410123: would have won without me I think
Ultimaterializer: No, it wouldn't have
Ultimaterializer: It only won by something like 38 votes.
Ultimaterializer: And there were MANY odd surges for MGS late in that match.
M410123: I don't think that was me. I can't recall
Ultimaterializer: Ah. Last one. What about the Mario/Crono matches and Starcraft's matches?
M410123: Mario in 2k2 and 2k3 was me. I was with Crono in 2k5 though becuase I had just played Chrono Trigger for the first time. He won without any help from me though. I was againt StarCraft the whole time. I don't know where all those crazy spikes came from.
M410123: in fact, those crazy spikes pissed me off as I tried to get Halo and Wind Waker over it.

So, if the guy's claims are true and he aided Mario in 2k2 and 2k3, that means the whole Mario/Crono debacle isn't as close as we think...

From the huge number of perfects that were just wiped out, I would guess that there was a very strong correlation between people who had Tommy and CJ winning.
