It's kind of cool that it's entirely possible for Kefka to be leading
by 20 votes 3 seconds before the end of the match, and end up losing by
1 vote.

Welcome to 50/50 syndrome. Regardless of what happens before two end up being tied, they will remain virtually equal to each other until the end of the poll for seemingly no reason whatsoever.

That's just it. He's NOT supposed to be strong late in the poll. People are convincing themselves that he is, simply because he started great when the poll opened. But he ALWAYS does, and his late night is generally pretty weak.

"I can't wait until next year when the people who called this one right use the "it was obvious from the start" bull****."
But it is, if Tommy wins. I knew before I got home what % Kefka would be at, and I knew that as the sun came up Tommy would make it closer and closer. Now, I thought it would end up a CATS/Ansem like reversal before, but still... close enough.
And again, this one is breaking the top 5.

Kefka does *marginally* better during the night, but in past matches
he's either still lost percentage or the gain was statistically
insignificant.
This is a whole different ballgame, though, so people are calling for a boost. That, and they're desperate for any fleeting chance that Kefka might take it.

Why couldn't Chief have won that match? I would have loved to lose my perfect on Ryu vs Sonic instead. :(
