You'd be surprised. Master Chief went toe to toe with Frog in those late hours...

Except both those characters are radically different from the early and late night votes. MC isn't nearly as pathetic with the second night vote, and frog is nowhere near what he is with the first one.

My point wasn't that. My point was, I wouldn't exactly expect Master Chief to get the mass vote stuffing in the finale to be able to match up with a Chrono Trigger character, yet he did.

Well on the offchance that these trends keep up for the WHOLE match, and the night vote is no different from the day vote (which is possible at this point), Vercetti will have tied Kefka wil like, half an hour left, which will make the winner based solely on the luck of the poll closing.

MC didn't get vote stuffing to match up with frog, it was legitimate strength. Nothing really leads me to believe the contrary.

Most of the vote stuffers in close matches like this are people vote stuffing for the character they have in their bracket, not necessarily the one they like more. Or at least, that's what I would think.

No no no... I'm not saying he was vote stuffed to catch up. I agree that Master Chief had legitimate strength.

I'm saying, in that last hour, when the lead was at like 0. Both sides were stuffing, it was pretty obvious. And Master Chief went toe to toe with from in that last hour.

I'm surprised that nobody mentioned the fact that many people go to bed not knowing that the match will be close. Upon waking up and seeing their character losing, I'm sure the vote stuffers would stay up trying to keep their character from losing.

That would explain a difference between the two night votes, and would also explain why Master Chief was able to go toe-to-toe with Frog even though his surge clearly had ended.

Hey, Yuna got some help, and she was getting whooped by Ganon.

Some people care that much.

I still think the "Yuna cheated" hypothesis is ridiculous. If someone WERE going to cheat, why in the world would they time it give her a bunch of votes right on the hour? It makes no sense. Random things like that just happen, it would be far more suspicious if the voting patterns were completely uniform.

Human minds are really good at noticing patterns, even when there really are none. I'm not saying there is no cheating, but I don't think small 40 vote surges are indicative of it.
