If DK keeps this up, I think denying a general Nintendo increase would just be plain delusional.

But unfortunately, his percentage is dropping fast.

It would be hilarious if this turned out to be DK's biggest win ever, considering he's faced Bub and Vyse in the past.

Well, it's not as if we've had many very difficult matches lately. I expect 4 or 5 zeroes to fall to Vercetti vs. Kefka, assuming Vercetti wins (as I expect him to). If something like Terra > Dante or Kerrigan > Vincent happens, I can practically guarantee that we'll have no zero brackets. Even if everything goes as expected I wouldn't be surprised to still lose them all.

I'm glad I went with the "Nintendo has increased across the board" theory. Bowser > Snake, Ganon > Auron, and Link > Cloud.

While I agree that Nintendo has definitely increased, I'm a bit worried about Ganon > Auron, because FFX characters have been doing surprisingly well (besides Tidus) and drawing in crazy high vote totals (including Tidus).

And Zelda > Vivi by leaps and bounds, just like plenty of us Zelda fans said it would be.

You mean like how Ganon/Yuna got 12000 more votes than Auron/Big Boss despite Auron/BB being the poll directly after Ganon/Yuna?

Yes, Auron/Big Boss didn't get very high vote totals for some reason. I don't have an explanation really, but I don't think it's coincidence that three out of four FFX matches have broken 100000. Maybe the vote totals are higher when the match is somewhat close? *shrugs*
