They definitely are bad. Luckily, they'll grow on you as the game goes on. After you spend some time playing the game, they won't be nearly as bad as they are now. But I definitely know what you're saying. I was rather frustrated with them to start too.

You don't have to cycle through your items. Pressing 1 - 0 will quickly pull out whatever it is you have.

The point is that there is no menu. I thought that EarthBound would be the worst I'd ever see for item storage, but I was definitely wrong.

Why does there need to be a menu for that? There's no problem at all with the way that is setup. You don't have to cycle through everything by pressing "I." It is very easily solved by just pressing 1 - 0. It isn't as though certain items are randomly thrust into those numbers either.

1 is always your Scythe, you shouldn't press that one unless you need it. The other numbers will have the items you picked up in the order you picked them up. I really have no idea what the complaint is here. I could understand if you thought you had to zoom in and have Manny reach inside his sophisticated frame everytime, but you don't...

And another 0 goes down! The prediction percentage was a bit low overall, but Rikku turned out to be quite a bit stronger than the other characters that lost in this division.
