Anyway, Zelda/Lara had a huge vote turnout IIRC, and this one is headed straight for a big one too... could Zelda among the big vote drawers of the contest? Good to see she kinda held up while I was at work... if I'm not mistaken she's still ahead of Sonic based on a constant Vivi. ****ing amazing. I won't even drop a WTF if Alucard triples Kratos or loses to him... this makes no sense. But hey, the fun is in that, right?

I honestly don't think Starcraft 2 would live up to anybody's expectations; I'd rather them make a Diablo 3 than Starcraft 2, myself, though I don't really play Blizzard games anymore (and I only ever seriously got into SC).

Assuming Vivi finishes with 40.3% and that he is as strong as his un-adjusted 2k4 stats suggest:
Zelda places right above adjusted 2k4 Snake, if I did my math correctly.

If Snake doesn't increase at all from last year, Zelda > Snake becomes VERY likely.

Whether you think Manny is weaker/equal to/stronger than Manny, your call, but this should be a decent reference to you (for the record, if Solid 2k5 = 2k4, Guybrush beats Manny with 55.06%). Personally, I think that Final Fantasy 9 as a whole just isn't popular and that Vivi has dived in strength since last year. As awesome as me being right about Zelda having a shot at Snake is, to think that she is above Ganondorf and right on Sonic's ass in the stats is ridiculous.

Though Kerrigan is an undoubtedly superior character to Arthas, "Arthas's Betrayal" is the best scene in any Blizzard game by far.

Zelda increasing makes some sense, but definitely not above Ganon, that's just absurd.

I guess my gut was right when it told me that Vivi was a fluke last year, as well as Frog.

I still don't believe adjusting Vivi based on 2003 DK was a wise idea in the first place. He has ONE year where we have solid data on him. I don't believe that 2002 DK = 2003 DK. It doesn't make sense to me.

We can't really say anything about 2004 DK at the moment. Regardless, Zelda has no reason to make a jump even bigger than the one Link made, especially if Ganondorf didn't.
