Some of guys are insane...Snakes gonna PWN Zelda and thats if she wins (even though she probally will) against vivi.

Snake couldin't pwn Frog. There's no way he's getting more than 55% on Zelda.

Okay, here's some information on Snake. Be forewarned that this all relies on Manny being equal to Guybrush, which is actually a very good thing to believe. He shouldn't be much higher or lower than him. But here we go.

Snake finished with 84.09% yesterday. By his unadjusted stats, that would signify a 1.82% boost, which puts him slightly over his 2004 adjusted value. That boost, obviously, could be attributed to MGS3.

By the adjusted stats, yesterday's performance would mean that Snake got a 0.05% boost. That's so small that you couldn't attribute that to MGS3 or anything. At this point, I would say it's far more likely his unadjusted value was correct. Now, even by that unadjusted value, he goes a smudge about his 2004 adjusted ranking.

I knew Zelda would win (purely for the reasoning that Zelda isn't exactly an obscure name in the video game world), but I wouldn't expect the match to be done five hours in. Ah well. Putting Zelda over Ganondorf would be pushing it a bit I think.

I think that's what happened. It was probably a decrease for Vivi and an increase of Zelda, as opposed to one decreasing entirely or one gaining entirely. Either way, Zelda is looking damn nice heading into Round 2 against a weaker looking Snake.

I still think Snake will beat Zelda though. Assuming Vivi didn't get significant SFF against Seph, and Zelda beats Vivi with 59%, and assuming Vivi didn't drop in popularity at all which is actually quite possible, adjusted Snake would still beat Zelda, even if you don't account for any possible increase for MGS3, which I think he should most likely get.

Can we now call Vivi the character who's involved in supposedly close matches that end up being Ulti-style blowouts?

Vivi's performance today doesn't necessarily have to speak ill of Donkey Kong. It's entirely possible that Vivi's decrease happened over the course of 2004 to 2005, as opposed to being overrated in 2004. This also relies on Zelda remaining pretty static and Vivi taking the big decrease.

I don't see any reason to think Donkey Kong is going to have to worry about Sam Fisher. At this point, with the way Nintendo is performing, I almost want to expect Donkey Kong to perform better than what the stats are calling for.

Looking at it, DK is projected to get 65.77% against Fisher. I can definitely see putting up a doubling and then some.

I think the last match pretty much gave the idea of how much Snake could expect from a boost. He either didn't recieve any or got about a 2% boost. But I wouldn't take his 2004 adjusted value and then expect a boost from that.

Shouldn't it be the unadjusted Snake and the adjusted Vivi, as people believe the MM SSF was bull? Which, I calculate Vivi would get 45.5% on Snake. Though, isn't the Snake '04 Xsts standings meant to be a bit of an anomaly from what I gather?

If you don't adjust the 20XX Division then every returning character from that division other than Kefka and Master Chief decreases. How much sense does that make?

Yet we've seen two, arguably three, characters who have helped prove that the unadjusted stats are looking far more accurate than the ridiculous adjustment that was only meant to make things look better.

Zero got 63% against Hayabusa. Going by the unadjusted value, Zero was projected to get 63.77%. His adjusted value had him getting 67%.

Frog was expected to get 55% on Sora, adjusted, and ended up with 52% on Riku. Unadjusted Frog is expected to get 49.99% against Sora. Surely you wouldn't expect Riku to be that much stronger than Sora. At this point, he's under him slightly. That's, of course, assumign that Sora hasn't increased from Chain of Memories or KHII hype, if you put anything behind hype.

This is the arguable one, but I think it makes sense. Solid Snake, unadjusted, was projected to get 82.27% if Manny was equal to Guybrush -- and he has ever reason to be weaker, but any they should be about equal give or take -- and 84.05% against him if he was adjusted. You can either believe that Snake hasn't increased at all thus far or that Snake increased from his unadjusted ranking by 1.82%, which goes above his 2004 adjusted ranking by a bit.

I see there being far more pointing toward the unadjusted stats being more correct than the adjusted ones. Link/Mega Man SFF has been absolutely ridiculous from the start. Mega Man performed horribly and shouldn't be given his 2003 ranking in an attempt to just try to make everything look better, which is exactly why that adjustment happened. I think as we go along, those unadjusted stats will become more and more justified.
