Your number is definitely point of no return, but I remember when 2000 was the number that needed to be crossed, and I think in my head, it still is. How many of come back from that? Duck Hunt unsuccessfully, Master Chief (somewhat successfully, depending on how you want to look at it) and Starcraft? Maybe a Mario/Crono?

Good point, but you need to remember that old school squae is absolutely terrible with the day vote and nintendo characters tend to dominate it a lot of the time. I don't see this falling under 60% on zelda unless Vivi starts making a run very soon.

I'm pissed off that I had "2005 Champ" over Seph pretty much for the entire length of the bracket being still open, and that only a few days before I changed to Seph for some unknown reason to me... the 2005 Champ in my mind being Samus. If Vivi had upset Zelda, and then Snake, DK might have a chance. However, with this happening, Donkey Kong isn't going to be anywhere near Master Chief, even with a Nintendo increase -- not unless MC's actually decreased significantly in popularity, despite Halo 2 coming out.

They are above average games, I'd give them 8.5/10 in my book, although I'm not a huge fan of the fps genre. But MC's character is on par with monkey feces.
