Why the hell do so many people want to see Mario win this contest? Sure he has good games, I've been playing them for close to 20 years, but I don't see what makes him THAT appealing as a character.

Play SMRPG. Mario is amazing in that game, as an awesome mime. Same with Mario & Luigi, and probably the PM games as well.

Possibly. But all the Square powerhouses are towards the lower half of the bracket, so we'll see when we get to the finals.

It is quite fitting that the only place the Nintendo and Square powerhouses can meet is in the finals...

My guess is that CJ just put the thing together using the best pictures he could find that would fit into the same picture and not look terrible or something like that.
