You're working in an extreme. Bowser, by no means, has to gain that full boost from the Villain Contest in order to receive a boost. There's nothing hard about believing that Sephiroth would have fallen more. I can't imagine why anyone would think Bowser is the same as his 2003 value.

Not really. He's great at a number of things. He's better than the vast majority of the characters in the game. Now, he isn't one of the top characters, but he still kicks a lot of their asses. I've used Luigi in a tournament environment before and pull out a win. He's far from sucky.

I love using Luigi's killer Wavedash, but I can never get used to his extremely floaty jumps. Even his short hops seem to take years.

Luigi also has a great aerial fight. He is also a high or Mid tier last time i checked. He has two major set backs though. His recovery and lack of cape.

There are plenty of good Luigi players out there. You shouldn't have a hard time finding a video of some of the tournaments.

Like I said before this contest. I dont have a hard time believing Zelda/Vivi can beat Snake. Magus, Gannondorf, Auron, Snake, Ryu, Zero, Squall, Bowser, Vivi, Zelda, and Tidus really arent that far apart. Actually I say if you take any two of those characters and face them off the results would be 53-47 or less.

Heh. I agree. Although I think that the only non-Top tier character that can actually beat with not much problems characters like Falco, Marth and Peach is Samus, I also think Ganon rules. I've seen and been beating with one of the best Ganon player's at least around here.

ummm.. no... im a samus user, and damn proud of it. I can take on anyone with her and come out victorious

but then again we must remember that every charcter has strong and weak points, there is no universally great character, though some are better than others. So im NOT saying samus is the best, but she is def. no where near the worst

Samus is the only character I'm any good with in SSBM. I only got good with her cause I'm the biggest metroid fan in the world.

I've only played a couple hours of SSBM, though. she seems like a good beginner character.

If Vincent and/or Tifa were to win their respective matches until they actually got to Crono, I wonder how well they'd fare. With the site bein' built on FF7, FF7 > CT, seeing Riku do well against Frog possibly because of generation-difference, and assuming Vincent and/or Tifa were strong enough to legitimately pull off their upsets to get to Crono...there CCOOUULLDD be an absolutely huge upset against Crono.

Samus is an awesome beginner character, I don't own the game and only play it like 3-4 times a year, but with Samus I can take down many an experienced player, especially in 3 or 4-player matches.
Her charge shot (B-move) and her B-up move (awesome to deal damage and prevent an opponent attack) make her my favorite character to use. The only thing I don't like about her is her grab, but hey, no one's perfect.
