If it's such a spoiler, then tell me what her final mission is.

As I stated, I've never played the game. Her fate is more important than the final mission (which presumably is just a way to get to her fate). I don't see how that is not a spoiler...? Unless the game explicitly broadcasts her fate at the start of the game, or this is a flashback.

i am also still not sold that Terra will be the strongest rep. i stand by my longtime prediction that Shadow and Mog have the most potential, followed (in no particular order) by Sabin, Locke, Celes, Terra, and Edgar.

For the most part, I concur. Don't know about Mog, but I think Shadow would have an excellent shot at being stronger than Terra.

Regarding Amano art, it is indeed the most atrocious "professional" character art I've ever seen. I find it very difficult to comprehend that someone actually paid for this. I've commissioned art before, and it was vastly superior to this junk. I would never pay for stuff of that poor quality. I wonder if Square was satisfied with that work. Did they ever hire him again?

Well, Amano has actually done art for all of the FF games, though they're not all "official" like FFVI's is.

Actually, I think the FMVs in FFV and FFVI were based off of that, which explains why Bartz looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like he does in the actual game. I seriously thought it was a woman until it got to a certain part of the FMV.
