His adjusted number? No, I wouldn't say so. If anything this does help his unadjusted number seem more accurate. Because right now, Riku is stronger than Sora based on an adjusted Frog. Unadjusted, Riku rests in between Vercetti and Knuckles at 26%.

Now if you're talking about Liquid's villain performance, then you're not going to find much that supports that being correct. Even at his lowest, that performance was wacky.

This is making my upset pick of Knuckles over Magus look a lot more attractive now!

Magus is projected to win that with 61.72% according to the 2004 stats. You really think there's going to a decrease for Magus and/or increase for Knuckles enough for that to happen? At best, you could hope that Magus somehow went down enough to make it a 55-45 affair, but even that is a little out there.

ok, so Riku has been gaining big time for the past hour; he pulled Frog down to 54.30% and stalled Frog's lead. and now, Frog starts pushing his percentage back up. what the heck? i figured Riku would grab the day vote and maybe even start coming back. but now, in the past ten minutes, Frog lead has increased from the stalled 1700 to 1800 and pushed his percentage back up to 54.38%.

It would be silly to try and predict out how this match makes Sora look. However, Frog/Samus will give us a rather good idea of how Sora looks in relation to Riku. Maybe this awesome Riku showing is directly related to CoM and the KH2 hype, or perhaps it has to do with everyone recognizing how kick ass he is. Frog will always be my favorite, but even at Frog's hand would Riku getting pounded leave me bitter.

I would think only for the ones that were not already in it. Tidus, Leon and co. have already been introduced to a possible different fanbase, so it would not be likely for them to benefit from a sequel. However, Auron will most likely get some semblence of a boost from its release.

Here's an update on the vote totals.

As of 8:20, here are the totals in comparison to Ness/CJ.

Ness/CJ - 32,101
Riku/Frog - 27,909

It definitely has seemed to have dropped off. We won't be seeing 100,000+ with this one. With some luck, a Nintendo character will provide us with that. ;)

Oh, and Frog breached the 2000 vote lead mark.

The best I could come up with would be something like Tidus/Pac-Man. Unless Pac-Man had some release on the PS2 that I don't know about. You'd have to get systems, genres and even (gaming) generations all different to eliminate all the forms of SFF I've seen touted about, most of which are silly.

I don't think there's anything wrong with thinking that Squall could come close to 55% on Tidus, that Tidus could have dropped further since last year, and/or Kirby could have increased thanks to starring in the first killer app for the DS.
