Which match do you guys think will get the lowest vote totals?

I think it's gonna be Ocelot/Pac-Man.

The immaturity is killing me..

So... uuuh, you have not seen how ability to draw more votes is correlated with contest strength? There is a reason why the low vote total matches always involve fodder/fodder, and the high vote total matches either are ridiculously close, or involve top tier characters.

Meh, I don't think Kratos/Alucard will pull in a lot of votes, personally. Dunno if it'll be the lowest, but it ought to be down there.

The lower vote totals might also be attributed to following a match between two relative nobodies. If I recall correctly, Vergil/Ghaleon started off on fire for vote totals, and we all know which match it followed, so the opposite effect might happen as well.

So now why is Leon a nobody? True Jill only ever got a certain amount of vote totals, but Leon will be the best REpresentitive. (PUN!!!)

Vyse and Bub didn't make it close either, and I don't think Fisher's as strong as Vyse. It'll be DK's biggest blowout in teh evar.

Anyone surprised by the number of casuals hyping up Riku/Frog? If Frog were up against Sora it'd be something else, but just because of that, Riku/Frog is a foregone conclusion.

Tidus/Auron argument. People believe that Riku is even more popular with the fanbase than Sora, and to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

I still think Frog's got it in the bag, though.

It's a good point. And Riku's not one of those guys like Ansem who you don't see for most of the game. He's constantly in your face. Still, Sora being the face of KH might help him more.

Regardless, the second battle with Riku = One of my favorite RPG battles ever

Honestly, this is ridiculous. Samus is still getting nearly 90% of the vote. She's gained .25% in less than two hours. In the upper 80s, that's incredibly difficult.

You made the right choice. I think Cecil will be weaker than Ramza, now that I think about it. FFT did very well against MGS, so I think more people played FFT than FFIV.

I'm bored now, so why I think Magus will beat Squall:

Alot of the guys who have Squall > Magus say that Magus is overrated and that you can trust his 2k4 number. Well, the same can be said of Squall. Squall ran into an SFF beating at the hands of Cloud, where Cloud tripled him. If anything (especially after seeing Squall's underperformance against Kirby and Bomberman) Squall is overrated as well.

Magus managed to barely edge out Ganondorf and get 35% of the vote against Link in 2k3. I honestly cannot see Squall being Ganondorf's level, or anywhere near. In 2k4, Magus managed 35% on Crono despite the huge SFF. Squall also struggled to break 60% against Jill Valentine in 2003.

My Prediction: Magus with 56.45%
