Like I said I don't think it was huge, just a few percent. Not that it matters, because we already do have characters from not so good selling RPG's who are quite a bit stronger then joanna, so it isn't hard to believe that yuri is on par with her.

Honestly, there is SFF featured in every match, but you're trying to tell me that Mario benefited from 3% of SFF against someone he has absolutely no relation to at all aside from being featured on the same console? Hell, I thought we were grasping for straws trying to put the label on Link/Mega Man SFF, but that clearly takes the cake. That's all I'm going to both going into on the subject as well.

Eh, but when you get into characters from such different genres and claim SFF just because of they shared the same system, it gets a bit dicey. Hell, Wesker has most recently had a game on the Gamecube (the first time he's playable in a game, I might add). Should we assume there was minimal SFF between him and Lloyd?

Well the concept is the systems themselves. N64 is famous for having a fairly small library of quality games. Unlike something like playstation where there's hundreds of games to choose from.

It's not impossible but it's not something I would bother bringing up.

Yuri doesn't have to be very much weaker than Joanna for Mario and Samus to be pretty much equal.

Last time I checked, this match was around 40 minutes old. Samus will be well into the 85-90% range by the time this is done.

There's "SFF" in every match in the contest, if we're broadening the definition that much. It's the nature of the contest. Mario/Joanna having SFF is ridiculous. It's not very different than saying that Cloud would SFF Joanna because those that had PS1s and N64s preferred FF7 to Perfect Dark, overall.

Earthworm Jim would beat Yuri. Laharl would beat Yuri. pretty much every RPG character in the book would beat Yuri. I'm a huge Yuri fan, but when nobody's played your game... yeah. when SH2 came out, the highest it got on the FAQs is #13. that says it all.
