Same.

I'm happy to say I got that entire four-pack right. Robotnik > MH, and the winner of Robo/Sin would beat the winner of Kuja/MH...

...now if only I would have known all four of them would have been weak as all hell (or, worse, as weak as the stats show them to be, heh), I would feel like a genius, heh.

East Coast here, stayin up to see the match. Hopeing its different then you all predict. damn... i think i might have let my passion for Resident Evil games get in my way of judging this bracket correctly. I chose Wesker>Lloyd. I've played Tos, didnt get into it enough to finish it. but im hopein Wesker pulls a win out of his *** the same way im hopein Kratos>Alucard.
My brackets screwed. :(

I know a good amount of people lost three points to overestimating Kuja, but to have that overestimation be the one thing that kept you away from a perfect must suck. That is, assuming you would have picked Robotnik to go to the third round had you picked Master Hand over Kuja.

My opinion is this: even after considering the fullest amount of percentage Angel Kefka could have cost Wesker, if you didn't think Lloyd would be stronger than Mithos, you deserve to get Lloyd/Wesker wrong.

Lloyd will be a good bit stronger than Mithos, I just question if Wesker 2k5 is really weaker than Luca 2k4 or if Angel Kefka screwed them up.

Indeed. You know, though, Mithos 36% is something to be amazed about. From what I hear, Mithos is not even directly involved until more than halfway through Tales. Looking like an anime girl in that match picture and having a feminine voice surely doesn't help either, and yet, he still pulled off that much.

Thus, one begins to wonder at Lloyd's or Kratos' potential.

Lloyd = Bowser? Sure, that would be pretty cool. =D

Really? All right, then, change my 80% to 75%. No way should Lloyd ever win over someboby decently respectable such as Zero.

7 points downed on a bad first round pick. Ah well, you still fared much better than me. I had Albedo going to the Elite Eight. I was really shooting for that one upset nobody else had.

I minus well had taken CATS over Ansem and Ganondorf. At least that sounds like a minutely respectable upset pick.

Just curious, but how did you figure it out?

From my personal reasoning file:

3-Dr. Robotnik > 6-Sin
This will be pretty close either way, but I imagine Sin will
be weaker than Yuna 2k3 was while Dr. Robotnik will be weaker
than Tails. However, given Dr. Robotnik's longer history and
list of games as well as Sonic being stronger than Tidus (or
Auron, too), I'll take Dr. Robo in a close one...52% or maybe
closer.

7-Master Hand > 2-Kuja
This will be close, too, but let's look closely. Before the
contest was startin' to be talked about, I had never heard of
Kuja...then he pulls out a 2-seed, which is impressive, but
there was still no talk of him beforehand. FF3/6 > FF9 in
strength at GameFAQs as well, though that doesn't mean that
characters = games. Last, I wouldn't imagine Kuja is stronger
than Vivi or Zidane (where I assume he would be between DK and
Knuckles)...so there's room for Kefka being stronger than Kuja
here. Looking at the games again, SSBM beat FFX (which, other
than FF7 and FF3/6, should be the strongest FF game here) and
Master Hand was a boss in it (as well as the popular SSB).
SSBM is the staple-game for the Gamecube, too, so gut-instinct
leads me to take the upset pick of MH over Kuja, with 51.5%.

3-Dr. Robotnik > 7-Master Hand
I suspect that FFX's Sin > FF9's Kuja...so if Robotnik beats Sin
worse than MH beats Kuja, things are looking good. Plus, again,
Robotnik's got plenty of games and boss-fights on his side, and
being Sonic's villain can't make him have too big of a gap; as long
as Kuja and MH are weaker than Kefka, Dr. Robotnik can afford
to be a lil' weaker than Tails. Robotnik wins, 52-48.
