And this isn't too hot for Zero especially if the Xbox day vote turns up for Ryu...

As I mentioned before, Ryu's not too hot with the day-vote, considering that he lost 3.5% to Sora.

He's not bad with the day vote either, sicne he turned it around against Jill in those hours twice.

51.9%?!? Good God. This is insane.

Those who filled out their brackets early and picked Samus to win it had CJ, and those with Mario or Crono had Ness. WTF?

Mario - 20
Crono - 12
Snake - 4
Samus - 4
Megaman - 2
Squall - 1
CATS - 1
Vivi - 1
Sonic - 1
Leon - 1
Kirby - 1
Kefka - 1
Diablo - 1

And Zero's still going down with the day vote? Either the bad pics hurt Hayabusa real bad, or there's something with 20XXDF. If Zero falls under 60% I call WTF.

I'm really hoping this match causes more chaos.

I want this to be the most ****ed-up contest ever. It'd be hilarious if the contest ended up with Zelda VS Sonic or something equally bizarre.

I can't believe the majority went with Ness, especially given the bracket love that GTA has had over the years. San Andreas definitely has something against it, and I find it very difficult to believe it is merely a hidden sex game.

You bet. 51.9% for them, 12.5% for us. I believe that's the biggest difference ever in their favor.

It seems that Zero has failed to double Ryu

Also 51% of the brackets for Ness! Vercetti in 2k3 had 5.5% winning the whole tournament (6th best odds). TV still had more people predicting that he'll go to round 3 then people say CJ will get to round 2.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like people having multiple brackets other than favorites brackets? I mean, I know that only one of them is in it for prizes, but it just always seemed cheap to me to just go, "Hmmm. . .Well, I'm not sure which way this match will go, so let me just make a bracket for both."

Wow, the BOP totally sucks. :-(

And on top of that, Jak > CJ.

How did CJ ever get into this contest?!

And **** Board 8 for making me believe awards (GotY) or having 30% of the top 10 in FAQs pages mean a damn thing. :-(

Oh yeah, you GTA fans suck. You'll probably vote Kefka to screw me over more after I finally convinced myself to put Vercetti over Kefka.

In other news: GameSpot has offically no effect on this contest.

Looking at today's poll, Zero better hope ole' Hayabusa here doesn't get the Xbox vote, because I'm feelin' like Lloyd is goin' to impress against Wesker...the better Zero lets Ryu do, the more the board is goin' to start hyping Zero/Lloyd like it's gonna be a battle of the ages.

Assuiming Zero got no SFF against Mega Man and there were 20XXF, Ryu's at 23.23% on Link 2k4 (between Vercetti and Luigi). If there was NO 20XXF, Ryu's at 20.9% on Link 2k4 (between Tails and himself).

Please... you guys are beginning to underestimate Zero. This is the same Zero that performed BETTER against Snake against Mega Man, unless you believe in that rSFF bull.

Hayabusa is finally performing like he was SUPPOSED to last year. Now, you can at least associate him with Ninja Gaiden, or at least being a ninja. Like I said before, it wouldn't matter to his fans, but for those who are indifferent to Zero or Sora, they can now at least look at him and say "oh, he's the Ninja Gaiden guy", or at least that he IS a Ninja.

Anyways, I see no reason why Zero would decrease in popularity. I would put zero stock in this match if I was one of those who are dreaming about Sonic over Mega Man, although I guess it is something that they are trying to hold on to...

By the way, I'm playing through Tales of Symphonia now. I don't even see how someone would like LLOYD better than Zero. Hell, I barely like Kratos... Although I'm only just past the Asgard Ranch. But I don't really care for any of the characters so far...

The characters in Tales of Symphonia are complete trash.

This match shouldn't cause too much worry over any other matches. Zero is not drastically falling short, at least not in comparison to Mega Man's performance against Link.

Finally got off my lazy ass and updated the BOP sheet to add results for the first three matches and the lost points part. MBP means main bracket points and TP means total points - the difference will only come in later on when Samus, Crono or Mario lose before winning the main bracket, since they're the only three people at least one bracket has beating Sephiroth.

I don't think CJ is a weak as even Ness through Scorpion predicts, which means I think Ness increased a bit. Interestingly, four of the last five matches (not counting today) have featured Nintendo characters doing extremely well, which fits into my whole all around increases for Nintendo theory that my bracket is based upon. There's no definitive proof, yet, but I still think it's a likely possibility.

I'm not sure what to make of Zero/Hayabusa. It could be the Ninja pics giving Hayabusa a boost, which doesn't really affect anything. It could be that there was no 20XXDF, which makes CJ > Ness look even stupider, gives Sonic a great shot on Mega Man, and almost guarantees Bowser > Snake. Or it could be that Zero collected some rSFF on Mega Man, giving Kefka a better chance against Vercetti.
