Okay, I was just checking Ness's match against Jak. I didn't realize that Ness lost so much of a percentage to Jak. He went from 60% from the start down to 55%.

That's good news, CJ should do something later on, maybe.

Seeing who CJ is, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of his fanbase ends up in North America and he ends up being stronger than he is showing now.

Afternoon should help him out, similar to Master Chief.

Except that Vercetti was strongest in the early morning (ie: now-to-soon), whereas Nintendo is usually strong during the day. And Ness gained a full percent during the day against Auron.

I have a $5 bet with a friend that Ness > CJ so Ness better win this.

Well Master Chief, we KNOW did well during the day because the XBox sells so much better in North America than Japan. If Master Chief had ANY strong fanbase, it would have to be in North America first. That was the most obvious case of "day vote" that you could get... and you didn't need to see the match to know that it would turn out that way.

CJ is a little more iffy. That's why I'm interested to know the GTA:SA sales in Japan and North America.... although it's obvious that even IF the game sold decently in Japan, those who would vote for CJ over Ness would STILL mostly reside in North America and MAYBE Europe.

The thing is that it shows how much Ness's pace has been slowing down. He's at the point where he'll be giving up bits and peices of his lead in another hour or two.

CJ is over 47% now. He's practically matching Ness vote for vote.
