I would think that the so-called "casual vote" would back more mainstream titles like Mario or Zelda, though who really knows. this should help someone like CJ/TV or Master Chief, not mid-tier Square characters.

but again, it's only the first match. I wouldn't take too much out of the high turnout until we get a lot of votes for two lesser characters (like tomorrow, for example).

Cloud/Samus also took place in Fall, while school was on. No school should cause a different voting pattern.

I'm having second thoughts about my pick of CJ over Ness... I was banking on an in-game pic, since that is how most people would recognize him. In-game, commercial, magazine ads, online reviews... they all show the same version of CJ.

That pic seriously does NOT look like CJ, no matter if it IS the official pic. You could put OG Loc under that pic, and I bet a lot of people would think nothing of it.

I know it's gonna sound like I'm trying to just make up predictions to suit my bracket, but I really think that while an increase in voters in the old poll positions would favor "New-School" Square, an increase in voters in this new poll position would favor Nintendo.

Hopefully, this won't affect Terra and AC will still be able to drive Cloud past Link.

Oh, and this is from a while ago, and Tidus Vs. Shadow was hyped. It may have seemed obvious to us, but there was some degree of doubt, and it was generally regarded as the first difficult match of the bracket and a match that was guaranteed to be close.
