Excuse me while I search my documents for the countless substance on the best series of all time.
We're talking about Metal Gear Solid here, not the best series of all-time.
And what, pray tell, would that be?

So, yeah, while we are on the subject, how about a little Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty synopsis?
Uh, how about no? This is the stats topic, and though we get social a lot, that would be overkill and a waste of posts on something completely irrelevant.
MGS2 > MGS > MGS3

And on a side note, the first person that says "OMG CHARACTER X IS AS
STRONG AS CHARACTER Y 2004 BECAUSE OF HOW BADLY A IS BEATING H" and
actually uses this to start saying stuff like "I guarantee E beats R
with 51.89% of the vote and anyone who says otherwise is wasting our
time lol" is getting kicked. Stats are awesome, but using them for everything is just ridiculous.

Also, I don't actually recall anyone actually answering "yes" to your

I could talk about the awesomeness of Xenogears and outline the plot
(since it is MUCH deeper than any Metal Gear game). But I would never
do that....
Anyways, nobody still has said much about me comparing Terra to Yuna... I guess it refutes too much of the other arguments people have for her being strong.
Anyways, if nobody is talking I guess I will go look at Ultimaterializer's game topic, although I think we have entirely different gaming tastes. I just want to see what he has to say about games that I like as well.... <_<

Ditto. I like you (a lot) and all, but give us a break. You'll be lucky if even one person reads all of that, especially given that you've posted the same topic at least 78 times.
Not saying you should leave the stats topic (the more smart people, the better) by any means, but dude. Overkill. Really.

No... please stop. Because if somebody else posts something of note, I
may be potentially spoiled trying to look at it. I still DO want to
play through the rest of the Metal Gear series without it being
spoiled. I've barely started playing MGS2 even though I've had it since
2002...

You've just completely spoiled two MGS games. Not only do I not want you to finish, I'd like you to delete your posts before I mark them for spoilers without warning. Don't get me wrong, I love Metal Gear (besides HM, who doesn't?), but it would have been better to just post this on a website or something, and link to the website after providing a spoiler warning.

Thanks for the comments, Ulti. Instead of continuing the summary, I
will simply fashion one more post involving the foreword of the
foreword of Metal Gear Solid: Dawn of the Concealed. And, it is semi on-topic, since arkenaga asked about the progress of my novel.
To answer his question, I have finished writing it. I am currently in the process of rewriting it. Here is the foreword of the novel.
Foreword
January 13, 2003
Four long years have passed since we initiated this project – “Les Enfants Miserables,” otherwise known as “the miserable children.” We conducted the first set of successful experiments eighteen months ago within the precincts of the underground research facility NextGen, hidden far beneath the ice of northern Vladivostok, Russia. Through the use of electrofiber technology, a byproduct of fiber-optics research, we developed a prototype exoskeleton based off of the design issued by ArmsTech. The company had recently lost their bid to produce the Air Force’s next fighter jet, and the experimental blueprint of the exoskeleton was perhaps ArmsTech’s final ace-in-the-hole.
Shortly after the fall of Zanzibar in the year 1999, we acquired the body of a fallen warrior by the name of Frank Jaeger, codenamed Grey Fox. Via genetic manipulation and cellular stimulation, we revived him, and have kept him drugged as our lab specimen ever since. Finally, we fit the man with the prototype exoskeleton and concluded the first step toward the second generation of super soldiers. Nevertheless, there was still much to accomplish.
Les Enfants Terribles … the terrible children – that is what the first generation was called. The government’s plan was to artificially create the most powerful soldier ever conceived. They chose Big Boss, the greatest warrior of the twentieth century, as the model for the project, and created his sons from his cells through a combination of twentieth century analog cloning and the Super Baby Method. This method involved fertilizing an egg with one of Big Boss’s cells and letting it divide into eight clone babies. Soon afterward, they transferred the clones to an individual’s uterus and later intentionally aborted six of the fetuses to encourage strong fetal growth. In the final stages of the project, they used one of the remaining clones to create a genotype in which all of the dominant “soldier genes” were expressed to fashion the final result of the project.
However, Les Enfants Miserables acts as an entirely dissimilar entity. Instead of creating a series of copies, it is intended to enhance the pre-existing individual and create a context where he can flourish as a host of superior genetic material. Our specimen, Grey Fox, was the first to test this same theoretical idea. Through gene therapy, we were able to remove the inferior clusters of genes that plagued his genotype, and, conversely, splice in additional genetic material from the superior qualities of countless other individuals. And, among these individuals was, of course, Big Boss. Today, we will discover if our innovation resulted in ultimate success.
Yet, the true nature of Les Enfants Miserables lies within not Big Boss, but his sons. Memories, history, culture … all factors of DNA – we learned this during the Gulf War. Even so, it is a recently proven fact that individual strands of memory can be factored into one’s genotype even after birth. Ergo, by taking two identical specimens and splicing in the genetic material that makes one half of a fetus unique, we could create a genetically strengthened replica of Big Boss with intelligence and education decades ahead of his time.
Let us hope that the man from Zanzibar can prove what we have failed to prove for over twenty years.

I suppose deleting the summary would be a good idea. It will save a
hell of a lot of time scrolling down, that is for sure. Sorry about the
outburst of fanaticism, there.
Oh, and do not worry, the foreword does not contain any spoilers for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and barely anything for Metal Gear Solid. After all, it occurs before the Shadow Moses incident.

That would be a pretty funny troll now that I think about it.
Topic: RATE THE GAME: SUPERMAN 64!
Some dude comes in and posts a synopsis for a random game. It'd be hilarious... and it'd draw mad heat too.
Not calling you a troll, superstar... but then again... I can't deny that it's sorta trollesque behavior. Golden, Jerry, golden!

Nah, that'd be a lot like the "NOBODY EXPECTS..." fad.

Hilarious is the wrong word (beyond the first couple of times), but it's still a good trolling idea.
It'd be like the "nobody expects" fadx5-10 on a topic that's not yours.

And what, pray tell, would that be?
Mega Man... or Tales.

What in the hell happened? There are deleted posts everywhere... and a long, unnecessary Metal Gear Solid rant of some kind.

With each day that passes, I grow much less confident in two matches: Auron vs Ganondorf Dragmire, and Tifa Lockheart vs Luigi Mario.
Seriously, I realize that both of these picks are most likely wrong,
but I have had uncanny faith in both of the winners since the bracket
debuted.
One match I am perfectly content in, however, is Dante Sparda vs Vincent Valentine. I feel that a lot of people are in for a rude awakening in that match.

Those deleted posts were a longer, even more unnecessary MGS rant >_>

Oh, great. The minute I bring up those two matches, and that just
happens to be when Heroic Mario returns. God has a sense of humor, all
right.

I so thoroughly and ruthlessly debunked all of futuresuperstar's contest theories that he could only save face by deleting every single one of his posts.

You have good reason to lose confidence in those matches... especially since one of your winners won't even attend the match.

Mega Man... or Tales.
I'm leaning towards Metroid, The Legend Of Zelda, and Metal Gear, myself.
